The country which boasts about ethics and morals... The country which puts sanctions on any country as soon as it goes against there interest... The country of USA.... DID NOT GIVE A SINGLE STATEMENT REGARDING THE BRIBERY(if proved) IN THE PARLIAMENT .... I was expecting something like..."We would wait for India's investigation whether country got majority fairly or not... and then move forward with deal"

Iraq has the right to nuclear power not to weapons, because they themselves signed the NPT. You cannot violate international treaties just like that. You must be a somebody like China or USA to violate international treatis & get away with it. If you are Iran or even India, better stay within your limits.
F the money can buy the lawmakers (MPs) --the law executers are small fry comparatively to be bought out at less amount, including IB and CBI and judges, with promises of powerful positions.
In the next year the current power bearers will rob the Indian treasury 10 folds over. So it is a wise investment.
ALL the BS in the present environment for nuclear deal is nothing more than political and money kickbacks and extremely shortsighted for India' welfare. The NEXT US government would have fought it more aggressively to look better than Bush's term. BE it Obama or McCain. $100 Billion is on the table.
A strategic alignment with USA is natural, it had to happen, regardless of Indira's fallout with Nixon/Kissinger. Congress had NO reason to be dictated terms by USA.
AS a PM I would have USA support India's seat as a permanent seat on UN security council, member of nuclear weapon state, and last but least equal member of G8 plus.
BUT alas you and me are stuck with corrupt politicians from Nehru downwards. They will sell their mother for money and power so to sell out Bharat Mata is NOT a surprise.
A revolution is not far away once the literacy level rises. Which it will. The NRIs are going to play a very important in this.
The NRIs MUST be allowed to vote. Dual citizen will allow this. NOT a PIO card to pay exhortation's fees just to visit India.

my dear friend ashok kumar i agree with some of the points that you have raised, however one thing just seemed a bit weird you said "A revolution is not far away .........The NRIs are going to play a very important in this" REvolution by a small group of NRI's !!!! it would happen only when the masses of this nation take proactive action ( not just literate but taking proactive action ..... knowledge empowers but what use if it doesnt make one take the step towards action) you seem to talk very highly of NRI's, things here on ground are changing at a fast pace, we recognize your love and affection for the country but how can you solve the problems when you are cut from reality here. you went there to earn money keep doing the good job.
Voting rights to NRI's....!!!! No... Never....Not at all, not that we dont recognize you as patriotic Indians but the prblem is once the government comes out with voting rights for u NRI's we are going to have new chanegs here like...10% reservation for NRI and POI in education institutions, 15% reduction in air tarrif when coming home, 20% reservation in govt posts etc....simply vote bank politics...we are having enuf of it. NRI's if intrested can support in many ways funding the right organizations , there are a few political parties that are righteous and fair...in single digit but they exist( zero seats in lok sabha/state assemblies) , you can fund them , give money to the Genuine NGO's.
