But then why are Muslims considered violent. As m=part of my IT job I am required to get visas to go to America, Europe, China, Japan, Hong-Kong and other places. Everywhere, my Hindu and Christian colleagues get visas so easily. But at every place I have trouble, and always immigration police look at me suspiciously and check me extra few times. In China, because of Olympics, I have been denied Visa last month. Excuse given was, "general security precautions". Why are we so hated. I think it is all because of rural Muslims who are not able to modernize and insist on living 1500 years ago lifestyle.
So what is the future of Muslims like us who want to live in modern world and make progress?

I think it is because of people like Rash, that we are in this state and not able to progress. I feel very angry sometimes at people like Rash, who are blocking opportunities for all Muslims, and not letting us progress. WHo is he to determine who is Muslim or not. Maybe he is the devil in Muslim guise that the Prophet (PBUH) warned us about. They have taken us away from the true path.

Among rich industrial nations with more than a million population Singapore has the highest portion of its population that are Muslim. In Singapore 18.4 percent of the population is Muslim. This is up only a little higher than the 18 percent which was Muslim in 1970. Singapore is the only high income industrial nation with more than a million population that is not considered free by Freedom House. Freedom House classifies Singapore as partially free. I am excluding high income oil exporters like Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from the industrial category.

I think there is no hope for us modern Muslims against people like you. You are bent on dragging us down to mud and preventing Islam from becoming one of the greatest religions like us. I think even if you had belonged to Christian religion, you would have been holding Bible in your hand and calling for crusades, or if you were Hindu, you would support caste system. I wonder what is the misfortune of Islam to have stupid believers like you. Maybe Islam should have not blindly accepted everyone who wanted to join, and only chosen intelligent and great people, so that it remains great.

Muslims like you are the biggest curse to Islam. I wish there was a way to excommunicate people like you. In fact, you people are the biggest help to groups like Jews/Crusaders/VHP. They point to people like you and say all Muslims are like this. I would like to tell you to educate yourself, and help revive Islam into one of the greatest scientific religions in the world, like it was in medieval times. It is not coincidence that Persia, which practices Shia, of which I am a member, refused to follow the Sunni version of Islam. It is only Shia Islam which gave the world Islamic culture, art and science. You Sunnis are stuck in desert mentality and hurting the image of Islam. We are the true keepers of Islam. You betrayed us then, and today also you are betraying us.

Between 1970 and 1990 the Muslim portion of the population more than doubled to 6.8 percent. That is still close to five percent a year faster than the rest of the population
I think Allah is punishing us for invading India and other countries. Islam means peace. When we gave up peace to attack others, and rule others, God is punishing us by sending Kafirs to invade and occupy our lands. Now we have Israel, America, NATO and others occupying our lands, and ruling us directly and indirectly. I think we all must give up violence, rewrite our Quran, and things will get better for us Muslims again.
Otherwise, I fear our community will stay backward and be hated all around the world.

We need to remove some violent passages in Quran, because otherwise everyone will keep using those suras and call us violent. We need to reform. If we don't, then we will be just like the Hindus who do not reform the caste system.

Who gave you the right to speak for all Muslims and call someone a non-Muslim. I will say you are the type of Muslim who is holding back the entire community in stone age. Because of people like you who are resistant to change, we Muslims have become backward and are viewed around the world as primitive, even though we were once leaders in mathematics, science and art. Art cannot flourish if artists are prevented from expressing their opinion and trying new things. You only reinforce the stereotype of Muslims.

I agree with you Alam. Quran was written 20 years after the death of prophet when most of the hafiz had died in battle. Hadits were written even later. How can we believe in hadiths which syas that prophet of God used to raid carvans, raid civilians and kill all men and take their women slaves and have sex with them. How can we believe that our prophet married his own daugter in law and a 6 yr old girl when he was 53 yr old. There is something whih is not right in our religion and we need to change it. Muslims have become victims of fanatism and hate and as a result Islam is considered the worst religion in the world.

I am not anti-Muslim. So does every single Muslim have to think exactly alike and believe every single word of Quran written 1500 years ago? Then we will always remain a primitive people stuck in medieval age. We were once leaders in astronomy, mathematics and science and art. The next ayat, contained in Surat 16, the Bee, in ayat 125 exhorts the Muslims to beautiful preaching.
“Call people to the way of your lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching. Argue with them in the most courteous way, for your Lord knows best who has strayed from his way and who is rightly guided.”
Kings who invaded various parts of the world had no aproval of ISLAM. Islam opposed Kings per se.
We failed to stop Kings from hijacking movement of Islam. YES, this is our failure. We owe an appology to people who suffered at hands of Muslim invaders. We need to tell them that We ISLAMISTS never were one with any Muslim king. Just that we could not make enough sacrifices to make world free of Kings (parasites).
Now that we have almost fogotton our deemed Position, GOD has put us in Firing Line
