The analysis of cross-voting indicated that 6 SP MPs switched to BSP and 1 Congress MPs switched over to the BJP.
These cross-voting started 10 days ago with Mayawati and BJP parading their defectors. BJP tried poaching more Congress MPs like Jalappa, whose son is already a BJP MLA in Karnataka. Congress was supposed to lose as many as 4 MPs to the BJP and the SP was being targeted by UNPA for a vertical split. Meanwhile Mayawati-Karat poached JDS and RLD who together had another 6 MPS from the UPA. These defectors were also paraded in news channels.
The best form of defense was offense and the UPA-SP retaliated in kind to not only stem the tide but to put both the UNPA and NDA on the defensive.
So Mayawati, Karat and Advani maybe crying crocidile tears now. They have been beaten in their own game. Losers
Yes everyone should be upset of corruption. So why not ask BJP's CM in Karnataka to quit too. He bought 12 MLAs (Independents & Opposition parties) made 9 Ministers in addition to crores of rupees financed by the Bellary mining mafia who has another 4 cabinet berths
MPs right to cast their Vote should be changed and instead the their respctive Political Parties should vote. So that the back stabing, Poaching and Horse trading can be avoided in future and thus let us save our great democracy.
For Eg. If BJP has 140 Elected MPs in the Parliament and if any such No- Confidence motion comes up the party dicision making body should debate on the subject and decide with majority opinion to whom should they vote. The party should cast the 140 votes on behalf of the members and in no case allow their electected representatives to cast their Votes. In this case, no MPs can change their stand and all will be under the control of their MOTHER PARTY. In brief, no MPs will be above the Party. Moreover, the representatives are elected through their Mother Party symbols and their manifestos. Hence, why they require individual freedom to cast their Vote. Instead the Party should cast the entire Vote collectively against or in favour of the motion. They should be given freedom to work for their Party and serve the people.
This amendment should be done with immediate effect for avoiding these kind of back stabing.

What type of freedom our MPs are having if they agree the decision of the leader with out acting on what they feel is good and right as per their own.
Very soon CPIM will divide in 2 parts. 1) Jouti Basu and Party 2) Prakash Karat and party
Communist of West Bengal Vs Communist of Kerala
Big Question is what is the idealogical difference between Communist of West Bengal & Communist of Kerala. Who is more intelligent and liberal and how India benefited from their fight.

Advani is more worried because one more candidate mayawathi is now going to snach his dream prime minister post.
What kind of reporting is this. Carrying all verbiage of a lesser known MP as Gospel. Reporter Nadar and his h'ble Editor needs a class on judicious use of space and judging news value. This is verbal diarrhea
We are fortunate that we have Manmohan, Atal, Somnath, Sonia and other such people in politics. These are good people. We must encourage good people and try to support them. The politics is started becoming impossible since hijacked by holigans and power loads. We salute the democracy and leaders come to respect democracy.

Just a few points on Sonia,
She married Rajiv in 1968 and came to India but retained her italian citizenship and did not become an Indian citizen till....guess? 1983 a full 15 years. - Patritiotism? In 1971 war all commercial pilots were also asked to report for war duty. In the whole of India, only 1 pilot did not turn up - Rajiv Gandhi. Sonia took rajiv to the italian consulate and hid there. Fighting for the good of the country? During 1975 emergency, again sonia and rajiv were at the italian consulate. - personal interest or national interest? India does not allow dual citizenship. However, till date we do have records of her giving up her italian citizen ship. - loyalty to the nation? Points to ponder?
first of all this M and I are the most confusting. both are not indian-they are russian or chinese ideologies. If politburo has messed up, then wind up politburo. if the agreement were with china or with russia these politburo memebers would have wagged their tails and said all the great things about the deal. communism is dead or substantially decayed in these countries; if at all it is alive, it is a family matter for a small population in these countries. these families are duping the public. let the M and I decay. Why bother.

Dear Benjamin Antao,
If you are thinking that communist are good for poor and middle class then why they were silent about Inflation and Petrol price hike when they were supporting Govt.

Does the Communists brainwashing process starts with the Child stage itself ? I thought communists believed in starting brainwashing at College stage through student Unions.
