MPs
by dharam prasad on Jul 23, 2008 12:47 PM  Permalink

If a person is convicted by the lower courts, his appeal in the HC in my opinion is for a review and hence so far as the HC does not acquit him One should be treated a convict.

Congress Excels in Bribing Honourable(?) MPs-in Opposition -Hail UPA
by D goel on Jul 23, 2008 12:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

d.Goel, afternoon 12.40pm, Wednesday, 23rd July ,2008.
Well the S. Manmohan Singh and UPA are on the seventh Heaven after 8.25pm, yesterday on the Lok Sabha Victory by 19 Votes, Ayes 275 against Nos 256. that is that.Democracy is the smartest or the most clever who can maximise its monetary and patron-Roles in the shortest run.Surely, they have succeeded in turning number of BJP MP's to be dysfunctional or be traded-off, in the melee for the magical Lamp-Post No. 272.They deserve to be given a toast for being the fast players on parliamentary turf, indeed.
What is said above hardly seems contributes either to Energy Security as fondly claimed by UPA'S Cheer-leaders in Media and Lobbies,or they are moved by socalled National -Interest. it confirms that they have slick personnel who are specialists in minding our easy -conscience legislators , sans morality.Indian Republic ,now, stands in the hands of such criminal
tactics of all political games.D. Goel

BJP represents Pakistani culture not Hindu culture!!
by Himalay on Jul 23, 2008 12:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It was black day in the parliament not only yesterday, it is a black day in parliament whenever BJP deceides to enact their drama in the Parliament in such pathetic manner, are these unruly thugs MPs?? children in KG are better behaved. And to think that BJP party represents the hindu culture, Is this hindu culture, such unruly behaviour, lies talk, threatening opposition and not allowing opposition speakers to speak during a national debate, personal attacks on eminent personalities...etc etc. This seems more like pakistani culture not hindu culture.

Himalay,

Firstly, everyone in India knows what our politicians are and hence to show dismay at showing notes in the parliament is surprising.

Secondly, showing notes in parliament is not nearly as bad as if the investigation proves that they were really bribed. NOW THAT would be pakistani culture, actually bribing and buying MPS is a gross crime. Showing the bribed money is nothing, infact good that they showed, what if they had taken it and kept quiet?
Signing the nuclear deal surreptitiously without adequate debate would be the greatest crime in modern independent India which all future generations will live to repent. They should have debated and built consensus, instead they went ahead with deciet. Now we can only pray and hope that the deal is good for the country.

I am not a BJP or congress supporter. But we indians get emotional and sensational about issues with matter less and completely ignore the big picture. I repeat, showing money is nothing compared to actually bribing and buying MPs, it is nothing compared to an ill negotiated deal (though I hope that is not the case), it is nothing than actually trying to sign a deal when prices are rising, agriculture is suffering, internal security is compromised.

MPS are elected on the basis of their party legions. If one wants to join another perty then he should be allowed to do so only after contesting another election on the ticket of the preferred party.

gandhis are selling india
by Pradip Parekh on Jul 23, 2008 12:44 PM  Permalink

all the so-called economic reforms that the gandhi party has been busily imposing on helpless clueless indians are all calculated to retun favors to foreign shady investors, like hedgefunds, in indian business. these "investors" using "creative investment instruments" have caused a havoc on american economy, and they are out to grab indian economy. the bribed gandhi party now has a "moral" oblligation to let these investors loose on ya.

Confidence Vote

I am glad and distressed too. I am glad that we have seen the back of the archaic pqarty(the reds who are living in a different era) at least for some time and they can use their terror in West Bengal. I am distressed because our ploitical system has suffered a body blow from which it cannot recover now. When Amar Singh initiated his moves, it became apparent as habits die hard. That the P.M. did not know of the machinations is too hard to swallow. Our politicians are far naiver than the common man. Thus Dr. Manmahon Singh will now have to be rechristened Dr. Moneymohan Singh. It was a disgrace for Mr. K.K.Advani to have made unwarranted charges. How doe it matter wethere Dr. Singh is controlled by a remote or not.Mr. Advani obviously laxcks the sidom of Mr. Vajpayee and we are not going to see another statesman like him. Maybe the Speaker one day could fill his shoes. At the end of the day,Mr. Advani's aspirations of becoming the country's P.M is in ashes. Fore one he is well past his prime and secondly, it looks doubtful whether he will even become a Minister. The less said about the so called third front the better.
