You NRI knickerwallahs are the worst hypocrites. If you are so bothered about India, come and live and work in India.
You are better adviced to concentrate on the politics in US.
time has shown that LEFT is left alone in their old dated ideologies by old blood who neither will flourish or let anyone flourish either. they cut their own branch in which they were sitting. now, that they fell, there is no ticket to get on the tree as well now. they have have no one but themselves to blame for this FAILURE with their black & white ideologies in thie COLORFUL ERA of fast development and progress. BETTER LEARN from your mistakes now or VACATE to provide seats to new candidates with an INNOVATIVE IDEOLOGIES orelse this party will be only in papers in future. good luck dr.singh and the people of this country to continue the image of MOST DEVELPOING NATION amidst worst of challenges.
I Remember the Day when 13 Day Govt. of NDA felt by Jst. 1 Vote, that of then Orrisa C.M. Giridhar Gomago, who inspite being C.M. Voted in that Confidence Motion, BJP Could have Done Congress that time, but they did not resorted to Horse Trading & Govt. felt by Jst. 1 Vote, BJP Lost but Kept HIgh Standards of Democracy, Congress Needed More than 30 Votes which they Purchased Killing Democracy, I would Happy to See Clear cut NDA majority Govt. in Nxt. Elections.

Are you saying that the non-BJP persons dont wear knickers ? or they roam around naked ?
Everybody talks about inflation and price rice in India. Please give the details of Inflation in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, US, China etc. Every country facing Inflation. India is somewhat better position in Food compare to other nations. Even US President spoke about Food crisis , in India there is no such a big problem compare to other coutries. (Compare the details of Prices in Jan'08 to Jul'08).
Just imagine during 1991 reforms Congress itself against it. Even MMS has resigned 3 times his FM post. But P.V.N Rao rejected it. Now we are enjoying the fruits of liberalisation. Now this ENERGY SECURITY WILL GIVE NEW OPPERTUNITY to the comming generation. Even Brijesh Misra, Advani says it is good deal. Then why all the cry.

Inflation in the US is due to market manipulation and India has been sucked into it due to spineless policies that's what the general public is complaining about.

Ok then tell me first why poor farmers who cultivate rice, wheat, sugarcane are doing suicides. If they were getting enough money for their production then why they will go for suicide option? Where this money is going my dear? Because govt. is not taking action on middlemans and those middlemans are congress people.

suicide is not a solution to anything. the peolpe who do that are of weak mental strength who does not know to TAKE BULL BY ITS HORKS AND MANAGE/EXPLORE THE GREATEST OF ASSETS which is found in every indvidual. PEOPLE WHO ARE AFRAID TO FIGHT NEVER WIN A BATTLE.

the whole world is facing inflation is a true statement. but, the question is what EFFECTIVE steps you take to bring it down. i know some countries in middle east REVALUEd their currency to ensure that expatriate population did not lose in foreign exchange currency conversion as they were depended on foreign employment and imports. similarly india MUST come with a concrete strategy (convincing to the majority) to balance the extra cost of living and production which ultimately effects everybody someway.
Mani Shankar Aiyar is absolutely correct "It is not easy to move fast. There are standing committees of Parliament. We need new legislation too. Things can't move fast". If they could move fast, they wouldn't be called standing committees. The standing committees sit on various matters of national interest. Of course they can't move fast.
So who to believe what the price is? CPI says Rs 25 crores. BJP even claimed Rs 100 crores. Yet in the drama enacted by BJP, only Rs 1 crore was displayed.
- So when a Congress MP defects to BJP - knickerwallahs say no bribes.
- When a SP MP defects to BSP, the Commies say no bribe. When Siddique defected to BSP, again no bribe.
- When JDS and Lok Dal defects to UNPA, both commies and knickerwallahs rub their hands in glee and say no bribes.
Only when a BJP MP defects to Congress party, then BJP & CPM join together to crow "Bribes, bribes"
Commies and Knickerwallahs should know that two can play any game.
At the time of Left withdrawal, the UPA-SP combine had 276 seats. Once the cross-voting pattern comes out, it will be seen that there was equal defection from the UPA to the opposition. In fact, the UPA lost 1 vote.
Surely when the opposition plays dirty, you do not expect a ruling party to protect its own interests, even responding in the same kind.
Fancy the BJP trying to take the moral high grounds. Just two weeks ago, their government induced 6 opposition MLAs to defect. They were made to quit their seats and all made Ministers. Before that the BJP was short of 5 seats to a simple majority. They bought all 6 independents, made 5 of them ministers.
The BJP should realize the old adage - People in Glass Houses should not throw stones
Even though Congress won the trust vote, they definitely lost whatever credibility they had due to PM.
It was very surprising to see the vitriolic comments of PM towards Advani after the trust vote. It was also sad to see that PM didn't get a chance to speak. But had he spoken, it would have been much worse.
Its very strange that man of stature of our PM can spew so much venom at Leader of Opposition. Compare this with PVN & Vajpayee relationship.
Comments like "weak PM" etc are all political comments & nothing personal about it. Rather he would have taken those comments in a lighter side with some humour. It was also reflection of bad diplomacy by Congress that a single issue was dragged for 3 years & had to be pushed for a trust vote.
Congress has definitely cheated the Communists in this coalition politics. They may face difficult propositions in coming elections.
But credibility of PM has taken a beating & he is unmasked for the first time.
Many Indians who were under the impression that Dr. 'Money' Mohan Singh was a gentleman, but was being led by the mafia team under the leadership of Sonia, must be re-thinking now. It is common sense that if had he been a gentleman, he would not have bent down to Sonia for the sake of Prime Ministership! Anyway, since the 'maya' about his goodness being unveiled yesterday (are there anyone still thinking that he was unaware of the bribery plans worked out by the political broker Amar Singh & Sonia's 'political' secretary Ahmed Patel?) we can watch the tamasha for about ten months more. If this is the type of Dem(on)ocracy that is going to rule us, people will lose whatever belief is left of this system! I see it as an opportunity which brought out the lamb's skin covered on the 'honourable' PM. This was the 'confidence' of getting about 280 votes, that the Congress leaders were talking about for the past few days.

Vijaykumar, I dont mind MMS being led by Sonia, but i mind the opposition led by Advani(a pakistani). If advani is a true indian he would have supported the deal as most of the polls show that majority of indians support the deal. It is sad that pakistan in form of advani has entered parliament. Shame Shame Shame on BJP Shame on Advani.

Dear Mr. Shahrukh, For your kind info, IK Gujral, former PM was born in Paistan and similialy you will find many more. so don't mind Advani being born in Pakistan (former india). And also for your information, Advani is in support of the deal but he is not happy with its contents which will make india a sort of slave to Super Power(US). When we are paying Rs 10 Lakh Corers on deal, it should be in India's favour. Its is bonus and a big business to America where in last 35 years no such kind of nuclear plant was installed, and they are starving for this kind of business. And now if we break the norms of deal by doing nuclear test, we havet o pay hefty price to US. Think now who is to be Ashamed..?
Dr.Manmohan Singh,PM,was persona dignified perfect. He maintained his cool when Advani indulged in street-talk like cheap antics. He used third rated adjectives against the dignified PM when he called him, weakest PM,Nikamma meaning useless, etc. PM in his speech delivered a body blow to Advani that he should changed his astrologer as he failed thrice to disloged him. His cheap rehtorics spoke of his mind. PM had a dig at him when he said what one say for the Home Minister to sleep when the terrorists were knocking the doors of Parliament, what can one say to the man who single handed inspired the shameful destruction of Babri Masjid, what can one say to a man who turned blind eye to the carnage in Gujarat perpetrated against Muslims. Advani had no answers to these and maintained eerie silence. Chidambaram was on his sarcastic best when said, BJP would renegotiate the deal if comes to power, while Left would not allow the deal to be signed. Yet both these joined together to topple the secular govt. It was then clear to the BJP and company that they would not win and therefore staged a sordid drama unparalleled in the history of the nation's prestigious Parliament. But this did not have any effect and members from the BJP and allies defied and rebelled to vote for the motion. There were absententions and UPA won handsomely by 19 votes. It was a great victory for the secular forces and those who love it.Indeed a slap on the face of BJP.A day of reckoning for Indian democracy indeed.

How can you expect a man with a name like Mohammed to support the BJP. You guys will always have your religion before your country. That is why you will support a communal congress before a nationalist BJP.
