Deal may be beneficial for our country but the way in which it is being pushed by Americans it seems that it is more beneficial to US and NSG as in US and NSG countries it is being pushed by strong lobby of industrialist and agencies who involved in equipment manufacturing and fuel processing .And also there is no demand for there equipment in these developed countries as nuclear power is no longer considered source of clean energy due to hazards inherent to it.Many accident have occurred in US and Russia at nuclear power stations such as Chernobyl in Russia even there was an accident at Narora atomic power plant in western UP. So US and NSG are exploring dumping ground for this obsolete and hazardous technology just to earn money.So there was no need to panic about the deal as whoever comes to government in US is sure to push this deal and in India whoever comes to power will be ready to sign the deal due to our thirst for power.The delay by a year doesn’t matters.Why US was ready to sign the deal even with minority govt and Why congress was in hurry to sign the deal when govt was not in position for smooth sailing.For US nuclear energy syndicate India is a market worth $100 billion.This lobby was pushing the matter not only in US but has also paid huge money to Congress & SP to get the deal through.

Well written Krishna prasad, the spirslling inflation rates, increasing commodity prices, shortage of food grains, oil etc were successfully pushed under the carpet by Manmohan, Advani, Karat, Amarsingh nautanki group. And as always, the 1100 million indians were made fools. (oops they are reconfirmed as fools again, the status will get once more established in the next election). Onething also got proved this time.. JMM HO ya SP, BJP ho ya BSP... sabse bada Rupaiah. Who tells rupee is devalued?

This is all nonsense. he is only trying to fool himself and people like you. He wants to justify all the bad deeds of Congress-SP & co to get the confidence motion through. He is no different from them.
This kind of incidents in Lok Sabha are too horrifying and truth should come out at the earliest. The honest and gentel people are also put in doubt and normaly truth is supressed. I am sure leaders like Manmohan or Somnath would be frank to bring the truth in such matters and they are good people as we all believe and they have proved time & again.
Indian Voters , you are stackholder of this republic . You had seen how ruling party used its money power to buy out MPs.What is at stack? $100 Billions deal.There is huge kickbacks of more than $10 billions to UPA.This is money taken out from your pockets by taxes.This hard money you paid to govt. to provide you basic neccisties.Voters wake up & resolve to defeat this corroupt UPA in comming election.

It would be like exchanging your right slipper for your left slipper. No material change, but atleast you were standing, now you might fall down. You Bengalis would become like Sindhi's in 25 years. West Bengal will be part of Bangladesh, and all Gangulys, chatterjeee, bhattachaya, roy etc etc. will flee to Bombay, Bangalore, indore, vijayawada, madurai, ahmedabad etc. etc.

I fully agree with Mr. saugata. Mr. sambit, u r mistaking,Mr. saugata also is telling that bengal was never good with communist but it may happen to be good with Mr. somnath but with congress as congress has the vision to do good and pro-development and Mr. somnath also is having the attitude of doing good, so he may act now as catalist to change bengal's fate to good. I thank Mr. Saugata for presenting such a brilliant idea ! jai hind! jai bengal!
