Somnath chaterjee is a member of a party and he has to abide by the dictates of the party.He is speaker of the Lok Sabha Because he is an MP,duly elected on the CPI(M) ticket. He is an MP first and the speaker later.If after ten terms in the parliament he is indisciplined enough todefy the party whip then he can no longer claim to be an MP and should immediately resign. If this is the conduct of a senior MP then why blame other young and not so young MPs for indiscipline.We must have the right to recall such MPs. As it is our MPs dont represent even thirty percent of yhose eligibl to vote. How can they claim to representthe country.With yesterday's conduct of the MPs in parliament,it is better to have a military dictatorship,with all it's pitfalls.
Good Somnath da was sent packing. Good eye opener for others to follow same. These people win on one party ticket and vote for others after being promised moon. Others parties too must follow same and the traitors must be taught lesson.
