Let truth be told. India was not able to exert force because of oil dependence on Islamic country. Nuke power is only Strategic alternative to petroleum in case of War or blockade by Islamic forces. Once Nuke deal is in place it will make India insulated from Mideast infuence and give India power to dictate term to Islamic forces who are spreading terror in whole world. So, By Congratulating Congress for their victory if anti BJP forces are happy then I also Congratulate Congress for making this deal successful.... Let's see who will have the last Laugh...Hhaha

It is only matter of time. Already dynamics have changed and things are all out in open. It is also called filteration. Fakes are now exposed, this is part of renewal process that is happening all over the world..

When the danger of Nuclear like radioactive waste, Nuclear meltdown are not avoided when the so-called most advanced nuclear states like USA, Russia have such disaster of nuclear meltdown(Chernobyl and Three Mile Island) that has left respective places radioactive and not habitable for human life.
Considered the high cost of nuclear power verses coal, solar, wind, Hydro, other? Remember this is not for the first generation technology Uranium based which is high risk, with lots of radioactive waste

First stage PHWR which produce plutonium from uranium which we have capability of 10,000 Mwe. Further our third stage Thorium, Which we have the world’s only nuclear reactor that uses U-233 as a fuel, which the commercial scale AHWR needs just the governmental go-ahead which the government has cut the budget for this year, as to the intension of this government who is unwilling to mine local resources of Uranium reserve.

Sanjay, get your facts right. putting up some technical half knowledge from something you have read and half understood is nonsense. In the long run, only nuclear can provide the level of energy we need- 1 billion, remember that. we cant get even 1/4th what we need - with a combination of all other forms of energy sources. USA and UK- the US area is 3 times that of india, polulation 30 %, so the ration is nearly 1:10 when area and polulation are combined- also they are not monsoon dependent. even canada, whose poluation is 1/10th of india and are is 4 times (calculate the ratio), with unlimited water supply (including niagara), uses 70% nuclear (except in one state of ontario- which has its major supply from niagara). out of the 7 reactors that are being built up all over the world- 3 are being built up i USA- so even they need it. and about the nuclear waste- you have to accept some disadvantage, better tech is available for nuclear waste disposal. by the way, malaria and other mosquito borne diseases killed 10 lakhs in last 2 yrs, so are you really worried about a small possible disadvantage??

These reactors will be operated by those MBC, OBC, XBC (or whatever), and the sycophants of M Karunandihi and the like, who get degrees in Nuclear Physics JUST by showing up at the university and getting 20 marks to pass! Just think what will happen when these morons are managing nuclear facilities!!!!

Good joke. Imagine Karunanidhi types operating reactors. He will probably steal and sell the heavy water, and pour some of his p**s instead, to regulate the neutrons. Imagine what will happen.
Parliament is the mirror of the society.The MP's represents us, if we be honest then only we can expect honesty from them.Rahter tha rebuking to the MP's over cross voting and bribery we should introspect overself , what kind of citizen we are.
If Advani ji had not been the P.M. in waiting and some one else instead were the aspirant for the P.M. post, even Advani ji would have voted in favour of the Nuke Deal. Also, but for his allegiance to the Party and not to let down his long time assiciate, 'The P.M. in waiting', , even BJP Patriarch Atalji would have voted for the Deal. Therefore, those BJP MPs who have voted for the Deal against Party's whip need to be congratulated for being visionaries and keeping Country's interests above petty party politics and party interests.
BJP, as Advani ji openly stated, is not against the Deal and would renegotiate and sign the Deal. This clearly shows that the BJP and particularly Advani ji cannot consume the fact that Congress and particularly Dr. Manmohan Singh is going to take credit for the Deal mooted by the BJP. Advani ji would have been happy if BJP were able to take the credit and Advani ji had himself signed the Deal.

Elections are only few months away and parties need money to spend it during that time, it was all planned to make the UPA to survive. Who knows even Bush would have arranged to hand over millions of dollars to distribute the money to ensure that N-Deal goes through. We poor citizens are always cheated by these politicians without even knowing that we have been cheated.
