We will all see the year end with 3 digit inflation figures and most of us will die of hunger. The population will come down to that of Iceland. Then hand over the country to the Ansals and the Ambanis and the Rahejas who can develop property and sell it to the Pakistani Gentry.

more than faith it is the environmental, geological and historical factors which must be considered. Faith and belief is secondary to any such factor as India's religion has always discarded superstition over truth. Besides, puranas are the most farji piece of work written by brahmins to exploit people. Ramayana is a scientific text and that should be taken as reference along with modern scientific methods to find the harm or benefit of any such project including the joining of rivers.

Puranas provide the most accurate figures. Srimad Bhagvatam gives accurate distances between sun, earth and moon. (in yojanas). The figures tally with those scientifically calculated by modern scientists.
Padma Purana informs about the river Saraswati that dried up much earlier. Mahabharat informs about flood in nearby areas of Hastinapur (new delhi now). The soil of new delhi after scietifically tested has proven this statement. There are several other examples I can site.
so called Pythagoaras who invented Pythagotras theorem must have read vedas, because the theorem is present in Sulbha Sutra which is much much ancient than even Pythagoras was born. Complex mathematical and astrological calculations have been given in the vedas. Great scholars have quoted that the knowledge to the world has come from the shore of Ganges.

May be it is in Karunanidhi's Ramayana. What else can you expect from Sonia Gandhi who is reporting to Rome? We have a PM who reports to Sonia. Then we have TR Baalu who wants to make millions from this project!!!!!!

The Ramayana clearly advocates for a only one woman as wife. Perhaps Mr Karunanidhi has conveniently forgotten this.
I am not able to get myself convinced that the amount of ecological damage due to a temporary shelter is more than the amount of ecological damage due to the pet project of Mr Karunanidhi.
