Good Journalism
by vivek jain on Jul 24, 2008 02:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If Mr. Rajdeep wanted he could have aired those tapes in his news channel and gained a lot of TRP ratings. In these days of oppurtunistic Journalism it is nice to see someone being loyal to one's own country and not the company.
He could have created a sansani but he chose the other route. Thats class.
Great job Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai.

If that tape had anything against BJP or Narendra Modi Rajdeep would have aired it immediately. Rajdeep hates NaMo a lot.

still neither he nor his mentors(CNN-IBN,NDTV etc) was able to do any harm to NM. NM has shown that he can manage 2 win without communist/congress Hijacked media. Apart from that he has also shown that he has vision to develop his state without help from center.

what is corrution
by vinee mehra on Jul 24, 2008 01:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

these facts are not disputed
1 bjp initiated nuclear deal
2.mr brijesh mishra security advisor to atul ji confirmed that deal is in the interest of the nation.then mradvani confirming to pm that they will support the deal.then to oppose the deal in desperation to seek kursi is the greatest corruption. rest is its fallout.one thing of course is clear buying amember of parliament is not very expensive just 3 crores.

True ballary Mining mafia to be booked and so is the Karnataka MPs depending on that money or in fact any politician dependent on mmafia money to bee made public .let not stop at haveing anti BJP inminds

Regarding Ballary Maning MAfia even though they are supporting BJP in Karnataka .. some of their roots leads to CM of AP , who has lots of bussiness interest in Minaral rich ballary area of AP and Karnataka .... which his son controls .. all party leaders who exploit our natural resources or support them should be punished ... but if u trace .. most of curruption roots in Independent India trace to congress and its stooges .,... all others are just tips of ice berg .....

A very good and sensible analysis of the situation.

I hope Indian politicians come to some terms with the ethics, at least!

All Right,

You got it completly wrong, I think you watch excess of IBN Live to be brain washed to talk on reality, or must be Congress Loyel Worker who can only survive by closing his eyes and ears and mouth against the bad deeds of Congress and praise the misdeeds for another 20 years.

Rajdeep does not want to antagonize Government
by Anand Krish on Jul 24, 2008 01:08 PM  Permalink

Governmnet means Amar singh now. They have a group of well to do money spinning channels like like CNBC, CNN IBN, IBN 7, MTV and now COLORS. If they ait the tapes that nails Amar Singh the entire cebtrail governmnet departments like Information & Broadcasting, Income Tax etc. will make their life hell. Why should he risk it? We all know of Tehelka tapes but do we know what happened to Tehelka team?

They hardly had any income but income tax went after them everyday most of the Tehelka team except the top have many cases filed against them. Shankar Sharma (the stock broker) who financed Tehelka was sent to Tihar jail for 5 months. It is very easy to file some case or other.

Raj Deep and Raghav Behl(the main owner of these channels) are not folls to risk all these .

RAJDEEP SARDESAI- POOR INNOCENT CHILD.
by nishu kutty on Jul 24, 2008 12:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

RAJDEEP DID NOT HAND OVER THE TAPES NOR AIR IT ON TV BECAUSE HE WAS WAITING FOR THE CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY TO APPROACH HIM, WHICH HE HAD ALWAYS DONE IN THE PAST.
RAJDEEP IS AN INNOCENT FELLOW WHO ALWAYS ABIDES BY THE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
SO, PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT THIS SUPER INNOCENT JOURNALIST.

It was BJP who consulted him for sting operation, but BJP was under impression that Rajdeep will take immidiate action & will broadcast it (as tehalka did), when Rajdeep has not done so & batrayed BJP, BJP was not having any option but display the same in the parliament, if this would not have been done, world would abuse BJP next day.

Having said this, there are series of questions. 1- Sting operation completed at 12-30, why did he not broadcast the news, immidiately (as Tehalka did)(perhaps he was negotiating his share of chunk)? 2-Under whose direction, he has not broadcast that news? 3-Where the loyalty of this person belongs? 4- Has he justified journalism- dharma?, 5- Was that news not worthy of being Breaking news, (like Shahrukh Khan got fever or Sachin Tendulkar is bleeding or Amar Singh's birth day celebration ?).........6- By the way, what are his credentials, credibility & contribution to indian journalism, so to award him with "Padmashree"?

He is not pro-congress, he is an anit-national guy & have displayed enough vulgarity & partiality during Gujarat riots.

It's high time that Media's business is tightly regulated, stringently monitored and code of ethics is fixed, these media persons has become extremely powerful in India.
