I think this is a very clever move by Mr Sardeshai. CNN has the tape with them. If the government tries to scuffle away the matter or distort the facts, they can always produce the tape to show what happened actually. If they show that now, people will forget it after sometime. They want to keep the issue alive even after long time. I think they will show the tape part by part starting from next few months, may be just before the election.

Bet? The tape may not have convincing footage of three Bharatiya Janata Party MPs being allegedly bribed. Hence it has been handed over to the Lok Sabha Speakers's office. Had the footage been convincing the concerned channel would have eyed its TRP grabbing potential and endlessly aired it the same evening. Get Real! Mr. gulliblepatriot!
You guys should have watched the live coverage by Rajdeep Sardesai's marathi channel IBN-Lokmat. The editor Nikhil Wagle a total clown was giving running commentry and was speaking so much pro UPA and hitting BJP as if he was an pi*mp like Amar Singh. This clearly tells what is the source of funding for this channel. Once new Govt comes in power in Center they should make a thorough enquiry into the functioning of this corrupt channel.
Dear Rajdeep,Lot of questions are being asked by the readers as to why you did not air the CDs or disclose that a sting operation had been conducted, before the trust vote was taken up.If you were so concerned about the way horse trading was taking place and eventually it would sully the image of the Parliament and the country, was it not your duty to hand over the CDs to the office of the Speaker before the vote? Or were you scared that the CD may cause irrepairable damage to the Congress party? In your innumerable interviews and discussions with politicians and leaders of various parties, you have somehow come across as a person having more than a soft corner for the Congress party despite it being a party of slaves of the Gandhi family. Are you one of them? One would expect a man of your calibre to carry the torch of fair journalism high, both by word and deed. You needrd to be impartial. Not that I can dispute the feeling that the Govt in all it's current avatar of votes at any cost, money or lives, could have damaged your position by closing down your channel,in vendetta, though it seems improbable. That the Congress govt is trying to gag the press to enable the Congressmen and their Mata to do as they wish and loot the country is a known fact. There are lot of unanswered questions your side of the net.Could u pl give your side of the story for the benefit of the Rediff readers as well as try to clear your name which at the moment seems tainted like the money displayed in the Parliam

What is wrong if a media is supported by a party? Isn't Fox News is a Republican Media? Does that mean they don't show the correct news or people don't watch their shows? BTW, Bill Oreiley show is the most watched in USA.

Media or individual can never be unbiased. Unbiased will only have events - if you want clear analysis we should be biased. Weigh pros and cons and choose right path. I am inclined more towards leftist just like ur towards right. Its absolutely fine, but one should truly believe in that, consistent about it and reason rationally
This congress agent...Rajdeepshit thought he is getting BJP MPs cornered. Imagine what this wretched creature would have done if these MPs did not disclose the bribery in Parliament, he would air it all over the country to show how bad BJP is.

Probably they got to know Sardesai has CD's. Thats what happened last time too. But i dont think BJP gonna win next MP elections, if 10 MOS are bribed - its a shame.
you know what is the biggest misery to a patriotic Indain? People who speak of lofty ideologies mean the least when it comes to putting them in action.lot of pseudo -democrats (who started saying they follow norms) have come up in India. U made all the respect I had on your channel for these many years go down the drain in a sec.thanks for showing your true colours.Hatss off to your journalism.I have realized that media persons are the most biased ones who use their polished English and lofty to ideologies to hide their true colours. All the lofty ideologies you speak is an effort to hide your deeply entrenched hypocricy
rajdeep is a biggest abuse of indian journliam.suppose those MP did not come to the parliament then this RAJDEEP would have tele cast the tape to show how currupt the BJP MP are? Rajdeep had acted as a congress man rather then a true journlist. shame on you
It seems that everyone here who is abusing Rajdeep Sardesai for whatever reasons totally forgot that the socalled sting operation isnt brought by CNN IBN ,but the BJP party.CNN IBN only covered it.
Secondly,BJP party & its leader LK Advani in their infinite judgement, choose this channel CNN IBN to cover this sting operation, not the other way round.
As one heard & saw LK Advani saying that when three BJP MPs contacted him And told him that they were being approched by UPA(Amar Singh),the BJP leader sought the help of CNN IBN(in his words the channel is a very reputed one).
That how CNN IBN was assigned this sting operation with key roles played by the 3 BJP MPs.
So now, any one who is accusing Mr Sardesai of any kind of impropriety, doesnt know what he is talking about. And as usually venting his anger on whatever he could lay his hands on after NDA lost the motion last night.
P.S:I'm not a congress man,BJP or any party for that matter. And i hate politicians. But what i hate the most when see some one blindly follow somethning be it a leader, party or particular theory just based on not logic ,but unreasonable instincts .
