Rajdeep is waiting for the bid to rise
by pavan prasad on Jul 24, 2008 10:07 AM  Permalink

Rajdeep and his ilk do business with journalism. If his intent was just JOURNALISM, the tape should be on air and in the PUBLIC. A Journalist is answerable to public, rt?.
But here he is waiting for Political approval. I have not seen Rajdeep waiting for approval like this before. Not for exit polls where he dares to give election verdicts before the elections!!
This idiot is just playing along the politicians and waiting so that the bid money will rise.
Yeh bhi bikega bas daam badhne ka intezaar kar raha hai.
And this moron thinks that we 'public' can be fooled. Real idiot!
Just one regret. While we see the political monkeys playing the corruption game and watch these journalistic blockheads toying along, there's little that we can really do.
I feel helpless. Yet, not hopeless. Let's see. We might just have a better tomorrow.
Amen!

Rajdeep did the right thing.
by nellore kishore on Jul 24, 2008 10:06 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel that Rajdeep has done the right thing by handing over the tapes to the Speaker. Can anyone say that in previous cases of sting operations, which was telecasted over television had any real impact. Our answer will be no. I feel that telecasting the tapes would not have impacted the people who gave the bribe, now the speaker is in a position to take a decision without skiping it as any other case.

Because he and his employers do not have the guts to make those tapes public.

However, those tapes have little or no value at all after what the darshaks saw "live" drama taking place at the well of the House.

Handing over the tapes to a dumb bell like Somu is another dumb action by this media.

Somu the speaker should not only resign from the post of the Speaker of a highly infected House, but also resign from its membership if any scruple is left in his fat head at all.

As a matter of fact the Rashtrapati Bhavan can take some severe measure.

However, as an anticipatory bail, the dirtiest politician of them all has installed a barbie doll in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

So the people of Bharatvarsh are at the mercy of Almighty and the UPA thugs.

The most important question is what our democratic machinery can do under the filthiest circumstances that took place so unashamedly on
that most unfortunate event in the parliamentary history of Bharatvarsh.

If we do not beleive in any one legal system and simply blame on others, then we everybody are reason for the current happenings. Or one day we will be victims of the happenings.

We don't go by politicians' will: Rajdeep Sardesai
by subir sengupta on Jul 24, 2008 10:06 AM  Permalink

Rajeev,

You have every right to keep your company in safe side and decide what is best for the company. But with sensitive material pertaining to the fate of our government, must be disclosed as soon as possible to the authentic authority without any delay, don’t you agree with me?

It is another matter the confidence motion went ahead with the consent of all parties and it was so, because with the absence of evidence, parties had no other option than to agree with the voting process. Being a reputed news channel, your responsibilities matters much more than any tom, dick, harry individual. The channel’s behaviour should not be biased towards any party.

We as the citizens of this Great Nation have the right to information and Mr Sardesai have infringed our right. We should understand that Media in modern democracy is also a indipendent piller infact there are 4 pillers on which democracy stands Judiciary, Executive, Legislature and new addition is Press Media thats why we commonpeople spend so much of our valuable time to watch them. This episode have shaken they very foundation from now on I will think twice before watching the particular channel. Media should not behave in their whims and fancy.

The people are however inclined to add, in the name of the entire mediahood: "....However, we are all easily susceptible to their (politicians' in power) intimidation.

And we naturally are inclined to succumb. After all we have our own vested interests to protect !!!"

Is Rajdeep Sardesia is a Private detective to tape the events and then hand over to Speaker???

Is Rajdeep Sardesia is a Private Detective to tape the events and then hand over to Speaker???

What a joke, a television channel doing a sting job to hand over to speaker and not airing it!!!

The truth is on Madam's directive he was trying to trap BJP and BJP smelled it and trapped him in advance.

After this he has tampered the tape ( the delay in handing over the tape was due to this) and handed over to Speaker.

These kind of journalists are the real enemies of Indian democracy. They have no values at all.

Because Rajdeep is not doing his job. His job as a journalist is to publish the material he had collected. That is a journalist job. Why he spend mony to collect evidence and then not airing it. Dont tell me he is doing it for nations interest sir!

He is true journalist. He airs only the scam of communal parties like BJP. He is working for the benefit of secularism by not destabiling Soniaji' govt.

Why This Double Standard?
by Sam on Jul 24, 2008 10:02 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When bangaru Laxman was stinged, the evidence was happily aired by all news channels, including CNN-IBN? Then why they have developed cold feet now? Along with the bribery case, the news channel's role should also be investigated.

BJP MP vriving case
by Sigma on Jul 24, 2008 10:01 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

July 24, 2008

Dear Sir,

Mr Rajdeep is not doing the right thing by not telecasting the footage of the videotape. The so-called Gandhians and man of principles must be exposed for the sake of the people of this beautiful country.

Mr Amar Singh has himself conducted a sting operation on Mayawati claiming himself to be the honest politician in the coutry. Let the people of this country know how honest he is.

Though the congress has won the trust vote but the way they have won has further consolidated my belief that the congress is the only party responsible for spreading corruption in our society. Bribing, coercing, misusing official machineries is not new for the congress, in fact, congress is the pioneer of corruption in this country and they should be given Presidential award on 15th of August this year for achieving one more milestone in corrupting and lowering the dignity of parliament and our parliamentarians.

Now media has also become platform for politicians publicity when Sonia Gandhi forego PM post same channel telecasted it as if she has become a saint and I wonder sometimes how media becomes biased when the Godhra tapes were aired just before elections it became more clear I think media is taking side of a particular political party. This is not done
