I read some of the posts and can't help but think that people have very low expectations from the Media.
Rajdeep I think did a great job by not airing the footage, this I think is because of two reasons a) Inconclusive Evidence or b) Strong Ethical Values. CNN IBN would never have been approached if BJP was not sure that they would hire the telecast. This display of Media Values & Ethics is commendable and he chose this ahead of TRP's is a even bigger thing. I am sure to watch CNN-IBN now.
Nowadays tape tampering can be discovered and I really dont think Rajdeep or any of his production personnel will be so stupid to commit perjury. And if he indeed did the same he could have hired the event.
And Finally the person implicated here is Amar Singh & Ahmed Patel. Ahmed Patel has never faced a controversy before and has been appreciated for his efforts across all groups and Parties, for Amar Singh who ever has followed his political strategy and his experience in politics even though if such a thing a happened he is not stupid not to ensure that he is not being taped or a sting operation is conducted on him since this is the era of "Sting Operations"

Balls ! This guy Rajedep would have gone to telecast the 100 times if BJP was buying an MP. That Amar Singh and Ahmed Patel (who is a mister 10% for taking care of 10 Janpath's cut from contracts) is involved has made the crook of Indian media squirm.

Jouranlists are not Police officers to produce inclusive evidence. Nowhere in the world Journalists are bound to produce news with inclusive evidence, their job is to gather news and publish it.
No comments on strong ethical values !! Just to mention that, he has spend investors money to gather the information and has not aired it, is it ethical?
If we judge and incident related a person by evaluating that he has not been convicted never before, nobody can be booked for a first time crime.
With respect to reputation of Ahmed Patel and Amar singh the whole world knows what is their respective duties in Congress and Samajwadi party

Hey Ajith do you work for Ahmed Patel? can you send links in which we can read that, He was appreciated and also get us the metrics to belive that he had done good work.
Obviously BJP had tipped off the channel, and participated in the sting. BJP should have made it a precondition that they would get a copy of the tape. Or, hired a more eutral channel rather than someone like Sardesai whose political leanings are clear.
If BJP cannot conduct a proper sting operation of its own, they can hardly go begging for the tapes to a hostile news channel.

BJP can not do sting operations for obvious reasons. Normally, such sting operations conducted to expose nexus between criminals, corruption etc...by an independent sources. Unfortunately, there is no one to trap the Congress because they have successfully bought all media persons (through cash or Western/external masters) operating in this country without any exceptions (may be pioneer can be an exception).
This is the sad situation prevailing in this country where a party which is rooting for this country is getting defeated in all forms by our own people.
Rajdeep is not doing his job. His job as a journalist is to publish the material he had collected. That is a journalist job. Why he spend mony to collect evidence and then not airing it. Dont tell me he is doing it for nations interest sir!
We go by who gives us the best money in terms of confirmed advertisement so that we can survive oue channel and remain to live in luxury. There is this street hawker journolist whose magazines are sold by hawkers on traffic signals. Does he not know it is a crime hawking on the roads? Actually they suffer from Yellow Fever and a jaundiced brain .... what we generally know as "Yellow Journalism". Look up any channel they are run by rotten and sick minds. They are adding hatred amongst people by their narrow minded approach and just for a hnadfull of money.
NDD TV, DD News Channel, Sardesai, Pranab Roy, Vinod Dua Arnab were acting as if they were paid servants of Congress. They had lost their moral value. They must remember that Indians were not fools. Kindly do not try to publis false news. Try be loyal to your job of Journalism. Media can break the society & at the same time they can also help the society to grow communicating the truth. All the Indian Media persons must act remembering:
Rajdeep sardesai is most biased media person and a real pseudosecularist. His statements, his news, his comments prove.....I do not have any faith on his news. So is Barkha Dutt, Prannoy Roy. They like bashing of majority community plus anything against BJP, they would have surely telecast ....Best are Dipak Chaurasia, Deband....no bias, real news...comments on all equally taunting and challanging.....

I am agreed with u. For the same reason, when Congress govt. came to power, they turtured Deepak Chaurasia. Even once they tried to turture him thru Army personel when he was in Aajtak after resigning from DD News. I had seen him in Aajtak how bravely Deepak Chaurasia was reporting the news from Iraq/Kuwait during USA & Iraq War. Then when he joined DD News then DD News became the best & most popular news Channel. Then Congress Came to power in 2004. Then Deepak was forced to resign from DD News & finally DD News now only Congress party people, Cat & Dogs were watching....When I am watching DD News Now-a-day bi-mistakely- I am feeling sorry about India Govt. & Indian Democracy-that how cheaply DD News is performing its Job like a paid servant of Congress Party. Dear Indian Journalists, kindly learn how to support truth.
TV channels are always very keen to show such sting operations, but now when the scam is already exposed by someone else, they are showing themselves as a neutral judge. It seems that rajeep sardasai has also accepted currancy bundles otherwise why they have not shown it to public. Now, it will never come before public because those involved in it will dispose the matter with help of neutral(??????) speaker and government power. This is already confirm that the government bought MPs and it gets confirm by active involvement of clever & oppurtunistic persons like amar singh, who always plays a foul game. Even both ambani brothers,bajaj etc were highly active during past 10-15 days in new delhi, which proves the game of money power.
This sort of allegations and counter ones are nothing new in Indian Politics. Lalu , the Railway minister heads the biggest scandal and Bengal Left front politicians like GurudasGupta and others are known to save the fraudulant copanies like Peerless finance, Sahara finance, United Bank of India etc. as they are all owned by Bangals. There are se4veral cases like this
Rajdeep, why you are not airing tape. You have given tape to those people who are in power. It is now big question whether you got something for this deal. Earlier you never done like this in journalism you are free to express whatever is true. Doesn’t matter who the person is. Go in studio and air the tape, never go to sansad bhavan who will throw your tape in dustbin. If this sting is true then just dismiss SP party for life and don’t allows their people to contest or take part in any INDIAN assembly. SP is worst party we have ever seen. Amarsingh only know Bade Bhaiya & Chote Bhaiya. Send Mulayam to ride his Bicycles all over Pakistan. He is Mula YAM.
You have every right to keep your company in safe side and decide what is best for the company. But with sensitive material pertaining to the fate of our government, must be disclosed as soon as possible to the authentic authority without any delay, don’t you agree with me? It is another matter the confidence motion went ahead with the consent of all parties and it was so, because with the absence of evidence, parties had no other option than to agree with the voting process. Being a reputed news channel, your responsibilities matters much more than any tom, dick, harry individual. The channel’s behaviour should not be biased towards any party.
