Nothing New
by vsgiri on Jul 24, 2008 10:55 AM  Permalink

This sort of allegations and counter ones are nothing new in Indian Politics. Lalu , the Railway minister heads the biggest scandal and Bengal Left front politicians like GurudasGupta and others are known to save the fraudulant copanies like Peerless finance, Sahara finance, United Bank of India etc. as they are all owned by Bangals. There are se4veral cases like this

STING OPERATIONS
by Dwaraka Nath on Jul 24, 2008 10:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

THE STING OPERATIONS OF MEDIA IS ADDING FUEL TO THE FIRE IN THE MURKY POLITICS OF THE COUNTRY. THE MEDIA KNOWS THAT NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IN THIS COUNTRY IN RESPECT OF CORRUPTION AND BRIBES. JMM CASE IS THE EXAMPLE, THOUGH SUPREME COURT TOOK UP THE CASE THE JUDGEMENT IS AGAST. POLITICIANS ARE MORE CLEVER THAN MEDIA AND JUDICIARY. THE CPC SHOULD BE CHANGED DRASTICALLY AND PEOPLES REPRESENTATION ACT ALSO TO BE CHANGED IN THE CHANGED CIRCUMSTANCES.

FOR ALL THESE MODIFICATIONS, YOUNGER MPs LEAD BY MR. RAHUL GANDHI SHOULD INITIATE STEPS AND PUT PRESSURE ON THE GOVT. ONLY WITH SUCH DRASTIC STEPS, PEOPLES CONFIDENCE IN MMS AND GOVT. WILL INCREASE.

MEDIA IS ALSO PLAYING DIRTY GAME IN INDIAN POLITICS, THERE WAS NO NEED TO CONTINEOUSLY TELECAST THE SCORECARD OF SUPPORT AND AGAINST THE GOVT. THERE ARE SO MANY ISSUES MEDIA CAN HIGHLIGHT LIKE CORRUPTION IN OFFICIAL LEVEL AND INDUSTRY. PRESENT DAY MEDIA IS ONLY HIGHLIGHTING POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE GOVT. AND NEGATIVE ASPECTS ARE NOT COVERED. THIS INDICATE THERE IS SOME NEXUS BETWEEN MEDIA AND GOVT.

WHETHER CORRECTION IS POSSIBLE IN THE INDIAN DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM?

CPI(Mafia) Chamcha
by EEEEEEE on Jul 24, 2008 10:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rajdeep Sardesai is a CPI-M chamcha and he only acts on karat's carrots. Now that CPI is in the opposition to the Nuclear Deal, they passed on the information to this sardesai who in the congress are the floor managers and who are they targetting to bribe. It was also very much evident of their links to CPI when there was no news coverage of Nandigram with the same intensity as he carried out the Godhra.

Please do not detract from the point. Equations cannot be done between Nandigram and Godhra train burning and the riots took place thereafter. Both were unfortunate.

The present point is that somebody has apparently tried to influence the consciousness of few Honourable Members of the Parliament by offering hard cash. How the channel got the access of the whole action is not of importance. What is important is whether such alleged acts have actually took place or not. If it is yes and the proof submitted by the Channel is genuine then the architects and the performers of this act must be penalised.

I do not want tape to be made public ever.
by anirban bandyopadhyay on Jul 24, 2008 10:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If the tape contains nothing serious, BJP will becomes a dirty party, Indians will feel shame.

If the tape contains some very serious things, Cong will create history of consecutive dirty acts, Indians will feel shame.

Both will damage us, keep that tape secretly forever.

Democracy is not suitable for India!
by shreen on Jul 24, 2008 10:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Since its a common knowledge who the police and CBI work for, its good this issue got exposed directly in the parliament,in view of the whole world and therefore it is even talked about now.Am sure, even after this, absolutely nothing is going to happen.Everything will be covered up and discarded as "animation" stuff. But the reality is,all in the world know how corrupt India and its politicians are. Everyone is after money these days. Those very few rare cases will also be easily tainted. As the proverb goes, everything is fair in Love and war. Now, add politics also in that list. People are dumbasses.India doesnot deserve democracy when over 50% of its population is BPL and illiteracy is very high.Everyone wants to survive and those who have something to survive are simply gready. Its easy to manipulate the vote bank based on religion, caste, region, language and above all, Money. In this scenario, what we need is a sensible dictatorship. Now many of you are going to pound me for saying this, but I believe, Dictatorship by itself is not such a bad word. Its cruel dictatorship that's cruel. We need to arrest population growth,Eradicate corruption and poverty,Improve infrastructure, education and healthcare. If some honest dictatorship can deliver this, what's wrong? Iam ready for it anytime, rather that this dirty democracy which sucks!
