Catch up with China for what ?
by Sincere Citizen on Jul 22, 2008 01:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Beijing has so much pollution that some atheletes have pulled out of the Olympics. China has to pull out 50% of private vehicles from roads to reduce this pollution.

Some rural areas where hazard norms are not followed are worst.

So what exactly is our Fin Min referring to ?

No one trusts Chinese to obey the patent laws, hence many companies are coming to India.

Chinese have trampled the Tibetean freedom struggle and the pro-democracy movement.

They have also usurped land from neighbouring countries including ours.

So we want to be like them ?? well then it is you who are the roadblock.

The Kashmir problem started in Congress regime so did the creation of Pakistan happened in Nehru's times.

We lost war with China when Nehru was the PM and Congress was ruling.

What exactly are these people saying stick to truth and not lies as they will boomrang on you.

Till few days back this same Congress was friends with the Left parties and hated SP and Amarsingh, now suddenly they are friends ??

Have some morals and ethics.

Oh and who raised the service tax to 12.5 %, who asked for increased reservations including minorities ? , who has delayed hanging of Afzal ? who built friendship with USSR ? who promised free power ? free loans ?

Stop this rhetoric.

123 Deal
by MKeny on Jul 22, 2008 01:55 PM  Permalink

The deal seems more between the governments in power rather than between the voice of peoples. The FM seems to be wanting to prop up Wall Street in return for continued party hegemony in India.
I completely disapprove of the deal, It completely smacks of corruption.

Nuke Deal
by Gaurav Gera on Jul 22, 2008 01:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Keeping in view that Pakistan and China are not in favour of the Nuke Deal I really wish the L.K. Advani and BJP would extend support to the deal. I my view BJP should show some magnanimity at this crucial juncture. This will go a long way in improving the image of Mr Advani and BJP.

BJP is not against the deal. Some of the BJP MPs would abstain from voting. This would help the UPA govt to win the confidence of the parliament and go ahead with the deal.
Long live India.

NUCLEEAR DEEL>
by nishu kutty on Jul 22, 2008 01:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

THE AMERICANS WANT THE INDIAN ECONOMY TO GROW AT A GREATER PACE AND WANT INDIA TO BECOME A SUPER DUPER POWER.
THAT IS WHY UNITED STATES ALSO HAS AN ONE POINT AGENDA LIKE MANAMOHAN SINGH TO SIGN THE NUCLEAR DEAL.
BUT, MANY PEOPLE ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING THIS AND ARE SIMPLY OPPOSING THE HISTORIC NUCLEAR DEAL.

United states is concerned only about its huge investment through nuclear deal! You are too big a country for USA to promote you as superpower. They would rather play their game around with Pak & Bangladesh in the region.
Few people in this country live in permanent awe to US!
