If the Govt of India is not interested to control population, then it should at least not permit buildings/constructions of cities and special economic SEZ on Agricultural Land. They should come up only on arable land and not agricultural lands.
Mr.chidambaram.few people in india are as incompetent , evil and anti common man as you are.you are a boon to super rich and curse for common man . i feel like giving him a tight slap whenever i see his face on tv or newspaper.
chidambaram has a bad record , even 3rd front govt. had removed him as finance minister.
hail intellegent (ha ha) people of india to elect him and cong govt. inspite of knowing that cong and chidambaram has a history of misgovernance and anti common man policies.

this is the first time chidambaram spoke his heart about his commie partners of four years ... feels nice when somebody at last agrees to call a spade a spade.

Have u guys ever thought We (General Public) are made to dance by 543 Clowns who are approved/endorsed by just 15-20% of the whole population of the country?

Lets say there are 4-5 parties at an average in a particular constituency OK? Lets take the whole population in that constituency as 100% out of which polling rate is just 70 % which means 30 % dont vote, say Party-A Gets 13% votes, Party-B gets 18%, Party-C gets 11%, Party-D gets 13% & Party-E gets 15% from the total 100% votes... So by virtue Party-B wins in that constituency.
How would u call it as a democracy when just a mere 18% of people from a constituency endorses a person/party, since 30% didn't vote, rest all 52% voted against this party and still this party goes on to rule with such authority till the next term...?
Don't u think we all are taken for a ride here? Rewrite the constitution & India can be free for real...! Else we all are doomed...!

Critics will kindly be dispassionate and donot employ abusive language if they disagree with my views.I am neither a supporter nor a sympathiser of Congress. Chidambaram belongs to the clan of intelligentia & every word he spoke is full of wisdom and intelligence.That is the subtler difference between a real learned & educated politician and a mafia gang member politician thriving sheerly on muscle power & driven by his political boss like a sheep.Very nicely,he defended the stand of the govt and at the same time frontally attacking the left parties.After all he had been an IAS officer and that dint vents out in every word he uttered. Just as Rao proved his unparallel wisdom in picking out Dr Singh as his finance Minister,Dr Singh too made a very wise choice in entrusting finance portfolio to the young & able Chidambaram whose services should not be discounted on the sole reason of the present price rise & inflation which,however,are a worldwide phenomenon too-not specific to India alone.I do not mean that whatever the P.M.did are all correct,but by & large his performance is better than many of the F.Ms we had earlier except Dr Singh.

Two points here. 1. We can't become like china with the nuclear deal. We need a more solid economic policy to become a financial powerhouse. What did chidambaram do over last 4 yrs being the finance minister? Excuse is that communist parties didn't let them do whatever they wanted. In that case didn't you betray the people of india by joining hands with the communists parties just to stick on to power? 2. Second point is that we don't want to become a china. We want to become a India. Sometime back the same chidambaram told in an interview with karan Thapar that the reason one shouldn't compare india with china is that india is a democratic country adn we have look at everybody's interest before making any decision. Then why are you comparing india with china now? Isn't that an excuse of convenience?
