See - - the trust vote is now a vote to operationalize the deal.
by Surabi Dilliwala on Jul 22, 2008 11:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This was all planned and played well by the Congi and their goons. Now SP got isolated and completely trapped to loose in the coming elections.
BJP should not waste their time with SP until the elections. Instead they should play a constructive opposition role in the process. Atleast away from the public if they are really interested in getting the deal in India's favour.

If you think like a head of an International business who wants the deal to be done, you will understand.
Here is the take:
First lure BJP into the game and have them initiate the deal since majority of the local Nuclear clout is with them and you can't even get the Government officials the think about this deal without BJP's blessing.
Then, make sure they are out of power because they will have a upper hand in the deal making process.
Get some other government that is vulnerable and has the mind set of rich and hipocratic views so that very few (cabinet) can be convinced that they are getting everything for a basket of Mangoes.
Then spank them with no trust vote if they ask for more.
Finally, get all these guys out and place a completely new bunch of parties with regional priorities and get the contract for cheap because most of them don't even ask for a kick-back and all they want is a temple here and a Mosque there or let them out of some curruption charges that they were not part of.

And all this can be done when you have a beverage distribution center in every village in India.

N-deal
by Rahul on Jul 22, 2008 10:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a totally useless deal for India.
There are other means of generating power which will be much more feasible and economical.
Nuclear energy produced will always be very less and will not satisfy India's massive energy demands and the means to acquire it will not be cheap either.
Also this jeopardizes India's nuclear program and internal security as India will be forced to sign the non proliferation treaty and should allow inspectors to visit our nuclear plants.
The only people who will benefit is US corporates as they will sell us nuclear reactors and make billions of dollars.
Does India, a country where 50 % people live on 2 dollars a day need this expensive deal ?
Either way it seems India is fked again because of our short sighted, stupid, corrupt and selfish politicians.

The important thing is India would come out of the embargo, which is essential to progress. Nuclear energy is undergoing some revolutionary changes because other products apart from Uranium 236 can be used so this is not a totaly non repritionable fuel unlike coal or petrolium. This embargo had to go for our scientists to get the initial U236 power to work on fusion reactors as well apart from our thorium reactors, else why do you think the scientist community supports it unless you think they have political affiliations too.

what u are telling may be true but for our country to become a developed country the doors are half opened.Specially to people of India from Forward Cast,Backward Cast to any relegion all doors are closed for people of India to get developed and make country as developed country at any time. For our country the doors are much closed for development in an attempt like todays vote system and mass participation we may try to win and the doors may open everywhere.

Good Win by Congress, but may have a problem at implementation.
by mahesh lakshminarayan on Jul 22, 2008 10:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Appreciation to congress. Good vote fight by BJP too but one thing they have to remember is to implement the deal to country in effective way.
The real situation of our people in our country is Brahmins are in a very bad position with no benefits and they are poor. All Forwards Cast are today’s Dalits. They don’t have proper facilities for even education. Government should take care of them. Others they have many facilities and not using it to the country in proper direction. Many of them are enjoying the cream layer. Our Country should is lagging is proper knowledge to implement New Plans and Technologies. They Should increase the knowledge power as India is Always Know Knowledge power of the world. If they properly do that and implement this project then India will have proper deal. This may give raise to good nuclear power, cheaper electricity and more supporting facilities to Country and Government. All the Best.

While the Creamy Layers of the Non-OCs are Enjoying all the benefits, The poor of Non-OCs are growing at a Criminal Rate.

Which helps the Non-OCs to do all Silly and Shitty Politics which are Ruining the Country.

OCs must Increase their Population by Maximum rate.

Else, Do something and see that ALL Subsidies and Quotas are only to those with One Child.

Even if a person has 3 wifes or Husbands, If he has more than 1 child, He should not get any Subsidy or Reservation.

There is No other Solution.

USA has the Habbit of Developing a Country at the Cost of that country itself.

And After the Development Reaches Saturation, It Rates that Country as Axis of Evil And Bombs that Country to Ruination.

And Then it says to its International Allies, See Now Infrastructure Industry will Grow at a Rapid Pace.

That is what is going to Happen with India too.
