If the N-deal is signed between India & USA, the muslims in India will be in trouble.
by Suresh Babu on Jul 22, 2008 12:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Congress party is anti-poor, anti-labour, & anti-muslim. In the next general election the congress will reduce to single digit party.

Great Decision by PM
by abid hussain on Jul 22, 2008 12:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I will like to congratulate PM for this bold step. I feel there is someting good in this Deal otherwise no one will risk the govet and power for the sake of shorter gains. Thanks Mr Manmohan Singh for taking a bold step and doing something out of Box. Great decisions by leaders have always been objected to by petty and short visioned people. Great Mr Singh the country is with you.

It is not a bold decision. It is basically repaying for the obligation for the period when PM worked for IMF/world bank.

Second, it would have been bold had it been taken 1 year back. Now when tenure of parliament is coming to end taking such decision and also making noise amounts to diverting the attension from the other gross failures. Congress is master in this art.

Manmohan the Technocrat!!
by s a on Jul 22, 2008 12:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the honourable PM, Dr.Manmohan Singh is not a political animal. He is just one of the shrewd technocrats, who are far away from the "aam admi".The technocrats in India have always formulated policies living in the air-conditioned room and travelling in A/C cars. They are not aware of the tits and bits of the happenings in the life of the poor and unpriviledged. The PM belongs to this grouping of the technocrats, who prefers to dump the left-allies in order to fulfill his commitment to the US President, rather than his countrymen.
In the days to come, the Congress will have the handle the tantrums of their new found ally,Samajwadi Party to fulfill the pro-liberlisation agenda along with the Indo-US Nuclear deal.

what if loses
by Shiv Kumar on Jul 22, 2008 12:24 PM  Permalink

This message has conveyed only one part i.e., if UPA wins but has not spelt out the consequences if it loses. It would have been more interesting if the author had brought out that also. Anyhow good reading and it also gives more light.
