by sunilkumar on Jul 22, 2008 12:41 PM  Permalink

upa is digging its grave by aligning with such politicials. they are bound to hold government to ransom for everything. in the eyes of people the gvernance will become maligned. economic situation/depression/inflation are all going to worsen. drought also knocking on the doors. there wil be general decline in welfare and comfort of people in coming six months. I wonder why the Govt want to continue in this period

Opposing Congress means voting against the UPA goverment.

SAD is already suporting BJP for last 20 years, and they have their coalition goverment in Punjab.

They are going to contest in alliance in the next election also.

why sikhs should feel proud of PM? when everyone is talking secular and talking against strongly believed religion in this country, why you are asking sikhs to be proud of PM. is our PM has been selected and elected only by sikhs? shame on this PM who has not bothered about his own people (sikhs) who were mascared in 1984.

what MMS want to forget is that Congress massacred 5000 sikhs in Delhi in 1984.

But SAD MPs doesnt forget that.

SAD MP's know that RSS/ BJP are not true friends but back stabbers.

Congress did a big mistake in 1984 against sikhs but at least it is trying to atone for it's sins unlike BJP which seems to be proud of it's communal record masquerading as nationalism.

India will win.
by Sandeep on Jul 22, 2008 12:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

MMS has proved once again that he is not like a typical Indian politician who will just talk and at the end of it, end up doing nothing.
MMS does get impatient after a while and wants to finish something if he believes in it which is a great quality to have. India is lucky to have a PM like this and thanks to PV Narsimha Rao who brought him on scene first.
This N.deal itself will change the power scenario in the country in 10 years or so.
He has really banked his future on this deal.
Clearly it will benefit India. None of the technical reasons promoted are convincing enough and the main ideological reason that US will take over Nuclear plants in India is incorrect as only the plants India wants, will be placed in IAEA safeguard.
I am not concerned about if BJP comes to power as they will agree to the same deal with maybe small changes.
Real threat is if third front comes to power as they can sink India. We have to watch out for that and hope that does not happen.

third front will come to power unless people vote intelligently to either cong or bjp. if people vote on caste/communal lines and regional lines..then we will have 3rd front for sure

True. But do you think CPM is doing a great job by aligning with Mayavati and likes. People like Mulayam, Mayavati, Ajit, Devagowda, etc. always looks forward for situation like this.
They have made another "historic" blunder. Their history has been filled with Historic Blunder. In the recent years they have slightly modified their anti-centre stance and tried to be progressive (atleast in WestBengal). Now, again they have made a "blunder" and gave a chance to some political-criminal earn some money.

Left is really a bunch of jokers, making noise for years without shouldering any responsibility, these guys even stopped jyoti basu from becoming PM under a fake reason of ethics.
Their ethics are exposed now when they have joined hands with people like mayawati.
unless the WB voters kick them they will not realise that they are not even known outside 2 states of india and they should behave like any other regional party.

by lokesh on Jul 22, 2008 12:36 PM  Permalink

Now and than , India has proved to all the political Pundits that, Its not there Political theory, but the People of India which decide the Government, like previous elections BJP lost (No body anticipated It.). In UP Mayawati coming as Big Power. All these lame theories r just waste of Time, I think we Indians are now Smart enough to understand what is gud and Bad for us. Even if we are going to with the Deal , we are going because WE NEED IT and NOT because US wants it to be.
