When Rajiv Gandhi brought computers IT in In India in 1980's these commies CPI-M Opposed IT said that because of computer millions of people will lose jobs. Now every one knows how many jobs created in India because of IT.And where India stand today because of IT. Now these commies CPI-M again saying same statement for Nuclear Deal and every thing.Let them bark dont care.
MMS should write a thank-you note to Advani, for had BJP really wanted to nixx this N-deal they could have voted with the "other front". But by voting as they did, they can claim both to support the deal in principle (barring some 'objectionable' clauses) and yet claim to have opposed it by voting against it, never mind that so many NDA MPs either cross-voted for the deal or abstained from voting, ensuring a UPA win. The real losers are Karat and his gang of Commie traitors and thier just-acquired 'allies'. Mayawati better had watch her back- the rats will desert her ship as surely as the sun sets in the west. he who laughs last, laughs best, and MMS et al are laughing all the way to the bank.

Karat is firmly rooted to his idealogy he will not change
I have been a BJPian all my life. However, how it went yesterday has really shown that now BJP is nothing but power hungry people who cant even wait for 10 more months to gain power. This was a golden opportunity for them to make a sacrifice (similar to how Mrs Gandhi got sympathy of entire nation after she disowned the PM position), and get a clear mandate and sympathy in next election. However, they just keep opposing everything. Oppostion doesnt mean that you have to oppose every single thing. Even if you want to oppose, there are ways and protocols. You have to be convincing, sober and mature. How they came up with bundles of notes in parliament was utterly childish. Its worse than how children disrupt the classroom proceedings. They also are not doodh ka dhula and know that horse-trading takes place and they do it themselves. People know it and they are not going to get any sympathy out of it. Shame on you Advani now and I regret being a BJPian so far. I have more respect for MMS and congress. At least they know how to behave in parliament.

YOu may pl. consider that BJP could not have formed a GOVT. You should rather congratulate the speaker who even in the face of horse trading charges kept his cool & took all precautions that the new coalition of the ruling party does not brand him as partisan.Had he ordered a probe & deffered the trust vote, the ruling partys interests would have not been served,& it would have appeared that he is doing opposition a favour. Many Indians in pre independent India were loyal to the ruler, what use it is to swim against the current? Congress & the ruling party coalition have won that is it.Speaker has been impatial, that is it. Long live trend?..thanks

think Speakers knows the importance of the deal .. so maybe he would hav supported...
There lies the problem. if someone people think a hero (even Shahrukh Khan) says something, everyone starts believing him without even thinking anything about it. I agree Kalam has good knowledge on some of the things, but he's not a nuclear scientist. Most of the indian scientist (they of course know much more about nuclear technology than Kalam) world over have serious doubts about the viability of this deal. Until unless those concerns are addressed, the deal will create more problems than it will solve.
How much power will be generated through nuclear technology? How much will it cost? Who will provide the technology? What about the environmental effect, how the nuclear waste is going to be handled? What if the US decides to stop supplying raw materials and technology? etc. I think Govt. should have taken the scientists opinions on these issues before even thinking about the deal. There is no point in getting some unsubstantiated data from unknown source to answer these questions. We just need scientists to debate extensively on this. In stead, the Govt. has used unscrupulous means to stay on the power and push the deal. I can say for sure, it is a black day for democracy.

SKS do u think this decision was taken my MMS alone .. or at the words of Kalam... First understand all projects are handled by separate team and they make a report of plus and minus of any project... and here Kalam jus came into picture at the last movement to convince other parties .. so he was not the man behind it ... pls understand...

I know. But unfortunately, everyone in that team will govt. corrupt chamchas who will do whatever they are being told. BTQ, where is the report? Why doesn't the Govt. provide a summary of the report, in stead of hiding it stealthily. People of india want to know more on the deal because it compromises the security of our future generation.

I dont hav an answer for it... but any topic if debated before masses will never have any solution... Its difficult to convince all .... as the deal calls for some confidentiality.. i dont think it will be right to put b4 ppl or oppn who never accepts it ...
I 100 % agree with u that fan or hero worship in India is the worst.... ppl fall like a pack of cards...

at least there can be an open discussion on the topic among senior nuclear scientists and may be open voting among them, may be also PM, leader of opposition. But, Govt. wont agree as they'll loose all the USA money...
