GET RID OF CHINA SUPPORTED LEFT PARTY
by amit singh on Jul 22, 2008 09:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most of educated people are happy with this WIN. Many of us don't support congress or present govt, But they are also happy, as this is for a good cause.
Now the Nuclear deal can go through.

Congress main aim was to get rid off chinese LEFT, and MMS will bring some historical gr8 economic reforms in next few months.

I am happy that Left is OUT!
by ARJUN on Jul 22, 2008 09:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am happy that MMS has won the vote but I am more happy that the Left has bitten the dust. For too long they have stalled the progress of India by their double speak. And they wanted future generations to live in dark ages by opposing nuclear deal .... Thanks they are out of picture now.. Now MMS & PC can really focus on how to take the country forward! Kudos to MMS...

No, no..no, Mr Arjun. You are mistaken.

In politics, everyday is a new day. Never underestimate CPM or any other political party. BJP had secured just 2 seats in 1984 and everybody had buried this political party, but in 1989 it had 84, 1991 it rose to 120 and later ousted Congress from the centre.

The leftists got 63 seats in 2004 on anti-congress plank, but supported congress Govt at centre for 4 years. Mulayam and congress were thirsty for each others blood for 4 years, but now "underwear" friends. Maya and congress became close friends to teach a lesson to mulayam a year back, but now arch enemies.

So, in Indian politics never count out anyone.

Tomorrow is a brand new day with fresh challenges.

For congress today it could be a V-day, but they are severely bruised and highly vulnerable due to the new supporters.

I appreciate your views.
I don't think these LEFT people will be able to get even 10 seats in next general elections.
Karat & party shall be wrapped in jute bags & be sent to china.

Dependance always ditches
by Ramesh Anand on Jul 22, 2008 09:24 PM  Permalink

In our personal lives all of you have experience that dependence for anything-comforts,necessities etc. is always painful. It is always better to avoid dependence. This is true for a country too.Depending on other countries, including USA,for uranium etc,can always prove disastrous, can make you bend forward or backward. It is better not to have energy and reduce your demand of energy than to enjoy it by depending on othe countries.Similarly it is better to reduce the demand of petrol etc,by discarding cars or banning cars etc, than to depend for petrol on Saudi Arabia,Iran,Iraq etc.Dependence on petrolium for war purposes is worse.
IN TIME OF NEED THESE VERY COUNTRIES WILL DITCH YOU.HENCE CUT YOUR COAT ACCORDING TO THE CLOTH AVAILABLE-PETROL OR URANIUM AVAILABLE WITH YOU.PLEAS REMEMBER MY WORDS WHEN YOU (INDIA) IS DITCHED BY IRAN AND USA.NOT IN FAR AWAY FUTURE.THE SOUL OF MY SAYING IS WE SOULD AVOID ANY AGREEMENT FOR ENERGY.NO COUNTRY IS GOING TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH YOUR COUNTRY FOR THE BENEFIT OF INDIA.FOR THE DAMAGE TO INDAI,YES.

The Trust Vote
by rajesh prajapati on Jul 22, 2008 09:24 PM  Permalink

I am glad that the burden of the Commies veto on everything is now over and the Cong/UPA gets back to the topic of governance, which it certainly can and should do in the next six months. I just hope their performance in the coming months exceeds what they have achieved in the last four years despite the albatross of the reds on the back!

not a big deal
by biji george on Jul 22, 2008 09:24 PM  Permalink

i dont know why we indians and politicians make this a big deal, nothing great is going to happen if we go with nuclear deal or dont go. in america nobody cares. its the ego in politicians that they want to win in this race. opposition want to get rid of govt, they want to prove that there is no govt without them. rulers want to prove that they if u r not we get somebody
