The winning of the Govt. as expected may not long cheer for Congress as the new alliance is very difficult to carry. Actual win is for BJP in view of the next General Election.

Survival will be a question for BJP as its shows on their faces, and false allegation to save their face against public,Now to win definatly they will use only their power thats of communal riots and mind you Gujarat will be front runner,
He was considered Nikkama by our oposition leader, also considered Kathputli of madam Soniya,But he has shown the courage to swim against the tide, every time when ever he decides,He has shown that when he was FM same he has done when he is PM,
All you guys have interest in plitics but no courage to go online into it.This blogging serves no purpose as for several weeks all of you were predicting his failure. I know none of yo like this nuclear deal and arwe more informed than some of our MP's but the truth is politics has strange bedfellows and America and India who never saw eye to eye for some 55 years are now appearing to be comrades in arms. How far this will go is any body's guess. In international politics there are no standard friends and enemies.I can see the this goodie goodie relationship will last only few years till we solve this problem of energy - etracting our own gas in large quantities/ setting up our own large coal basecplants etc.And then we will explode a double atom Bomb again! Sorry for the Bush and his likes in American Politics . Now is the time to float a political party to fight congress/ BJP/ SP/RJD in next elections

Yes ur Comments are testimony of who is ganwaar.................
Despite loosing the vote, the former PMs Morarji Desai and Atal Behari stood tall with their head held high and regarded by all as true statesmen. Whatever may be the truth in the bribery charges, I believe sincerely, that the unholiest of alliances and deals were struck by the government. I am sure that except very few people in BJP,Cong and Communists understood what exactly is the deal and why we should be for or against it. Without any disregard to the elected members, I think most of the votes polled for or against the deal was only because of the whips and unholy behind the scene deals. After the euphoria of the win dies, we will realise the cost of the support the govt. received. Needless to say, the Left would have had a tough time if UPA lost and BSP madam became the PM. I think I am realistic in feeling that the progress of the country is beyond redemption as there is no selfless leader visible on the horizon including those from BJP.

@sastry can you please explain why Atal Behari Vajpayee approved the most corrupt deal ENRON during lunch session when Parliament sitting on NOMotion against his Govt.!Why in what interst did he approved the most corrupt DEal ENRON and gave it the counter Gurantee! And why! You say " think I am realistic in feeling that the progress of the country is beyond redemption as there is no selfless leader visible on the horizon including those from BJP. " So u give special position to RSSBJP !And u think Mayawati is not suitable for PM!This shows ur true character!

They say only idiots pre-judge issues/accusations without getting full the facts of the matter. No further comment needed me thinks.
Good job Manmohan, you have all the power in the world to make a deal with the USA.. I don’t see any wrong in exchanging money to get support because how many in India are ethical when it comes to money? This is not a victory to Congress, but it is a victory to an honest man who is trying to do something good for a country even he is around corrupt people.
I have been a BJP supporter for a while now, but seeing BJP stooping to the lowest level just to oppose the nuclear deal, I feel that it is a well deserved shame to them. It was a win-win situation for Congress no matter what. They tried to make this deal at the end of their tenure so if they win, like now, it is going to be a major thing in next election that they did something for the country and if it had gone other way around, they would have made it as an issue saying opposition wants nothing but power.
A simple statement from BJP that we support this deal even if it is not according to our wish’ would have been a major victory. Now, they show that they are nothing but Rath Yathras and Brahminism.

You an ex-BJP supporter?? If you were, you would know that BJP would support the deal in its current form if it was serving India's national interest. Have you gone through the numerous objections to the N-deal voiced by BARC scientists and many other independent analysts for eg Brahma Chellaney? You just want another excuse for BJP bashing. Its Manmohan and Sonia who are selling India into nuclear slavery and second-rate status without any N-fuel guarantees even . In a way its good they won the vote of confidence - else everyone would have blamed the BJP for "scuttling the N-deal after initiating it"
