If he had to goto jail, even when he hadn't done anything wrong. Then what would you do to the politicians who have several case pending over them.
The BJP was truly in a bind. It could not have the UPA win. That would make a Mayawati victory.
Neither could it let UPA win the trust vote. That would ensure UPA as the frontrunners to win the next Lok Sabha polls.
So what could it do?
It didn't make any efforts to stop its suscept members from defecting to the UPA. On the other hand to camouflague this, it enacted a drame. Smuggled a briefcase of one crore ruppes into parliament and enacted a drama - lowering the prestige of the country in the eyes of the world.
The body language of a deepily distraught Advani summed it all - senile as he is, he knew his dreams of Prime Ministership is smashed.
The BJP ended up as bad losers. From claiming it was the front-runner to winning the next elections, it has been reduced to almost to a also ran fo the next elections. The NDA is disintegrating and most of its constituents would very soon consolidate around the UNPA.

Sir... we used to have those kind of portfolios allocated only during the NDA regime. It's patented technology. No other government is allowed to use it. Remember Yashwant Sinha as the FM? That was the biggest joke on independent India.
Ppl in this blog are talking about whether this nuke deal is really good for india in terms of generating nuclear energy? Or our national security is sacrificed etc. But the ruling government has some hidden agenda towards the whole deal. i think US would have threatened that if India does not sign this deal, they would stop other services they are giving to india or something like that. This is more than a power deal, MMS really woudl really fear there are consequences on the strategic alliance with US. Even BJP is in favor of having a strategic ties with US.

See what ever people might call it politics of base level, horsetrading, shameful etc etc.
The fact is UPA got the number it had to and its here for next 100 days for sure minus the left parties. Time for doing what ever is required. From my side its thumbsup to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. And frankly speaking about economy inflation deficit I dont know a much ...but I m sure nobody knows better than the killer combo of Dr. Manmohan Singh & P. Chidambram. So its a good luck to them. And even if the UPA falls in next elections and any other government comes ...it wont last a full term so please guys lets not waste nations time and resources and vote for UPA. 3 cheers for UPA and big curses for those who abuse me for this message ...hehe! And please guys NDA supporters dont whine haan politics hai...hota rehta hai!

Hail the greater good! Lets not join politics but just curse politics and shallow knowledge politicians have .... and do the "Better" jobs ..read the corporate jobs ... Damn i feel guilty but I cannot agree more ....But atleast I m not a hypocrite!
It is obvious that many of us and most Congressmen who thought that Dr Singh is an apolitical personality, not a hardcore Indian political animal, will eat their words. He is a cunning, street-smart politician who stands shoulder to shoulder with politicians like Amar Singh to achieve his goal.

When u stand against likes of Mayavati and Advani ...u need to learn the nitty gritties of the game man. Every one is Raja Harish Chandra until and unless hes forced to be otherwise. He certainly wouldn't have commited suicide ...best thing was to fight back.... and he did.
Reservation system should be changed from birth-caste based to Family-income based system. So all community will be benefited, Income tax payer SC ST will be out of benefit and election voting pattern will be drastically changed. One kankad will kill Three birds at a time.
Earlier the Govt was controlled by PRAKASH KARAT & BRINDA KARAT and now it will be controlled by AMAR & AMBANI. Shame on you Mr Manmohan singh. You should have step down as PM, once the Left withdrawn support to your Govt. Then the people wud have saluted you. I think it was a ploy of Congress party to defame you so that they can project Sonia Gandhi as next PM.
