UPA win
by Top Gun on Jul 22, 2008 08:18 PM  Permalink

Now all those BJP actors should be investigated for the charges made.

I am not saying money was not offered. But a party whose president was caught being bribed on national TV and which took kickbacks while buying coffins for dead soldiers should not be blaming others.

And yes left and right are both wrong.

Long live queen Sonia and prince Rahul.

Perfect Indianism
by Sandipan Guha on Jul 22, 2008 07:54 PM  Permalink

Our pride have been mauled and these kind of events have become everyday affair. We will forget this on the very third day.

I read somewhere that INDIA will witness violent revolution which is already evident in the form of Maoist activity and other such activities. I support them very truely. If I was younger I must have joined such movements which inculcate violent means to change society. I do not exactly beleive in appeasing way of life which has cancerously spread in INDIA and devaluing social life.

We take pride in Gandhi's message. But today our society is extremely violent and may be more violent than many societies world over. So what is the message to take from these events. Violene has necesicities to serve to. Its not as negative as is generally percieved.

I remember the dialog of Sholey "Zillat ke zindegi se Izzat ki maut kahi achhi hai". We are soon approaching that time where we have to die for bringing in the change. We need to be preapred.

JAI HIND

Today i saw the proceeding in the parliment and believe me it was better than 3-6 movie. Our politicians are the best entertainers in the country, they can go to any dam limit for their cause. First of all every1 knows the reality of each and every person present in the Parliment, so who are they trying to fool.

Actually, some of the speakers were pretty good despite the noise and the short time allotted. There is still hope.

The BJP has lost support
by Prem Mohan on Jul 22, 2008 07:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now that the result is out, the Congress has come out smiling.

The CPI-M and Prakash Karat are sulking. But right or wrong, they stuck to their ideological position.

The BJP has come off the worst. By its unprincipled opposition to the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal, they have lost face and a large part of their support among the middle classes. They need to replace Advani.

I had always thought the same. But many of the people who spoke in parliament, from all parties, are articulate and knowledgeable. Lalu Yadav is a treat.

And I have become an admirer of Somnath Chatterjee. He is affable, pleasant and fair.

Now if only we could get rid of the goons elected from the Bimaru states!
