It is funny people take these things so seriously. MP buying/selling has been going on for years, and every party resorts to it. It has become a part of life (at least for me!) like pot holed roads and power cuts. Nothing changes for the common man, no matter which party is in power. It is sad that despite so many 'heavy weight' parties, it is ultimately the parties with a couple of MPs that have the power to bring down the governments, and they obviuosly enjoy their moment and encash it to the fullest. Like a communist leader said a few days ago on TV, 'Sometimes the dog wags the tail..and sometimes the tail wags the dog'
BJP seems to be the quintessintial Bharatiya Jokers Party!
They asked Harshad Mehta to say the he bribed the then PM Narasimha Rao with 1 cr. and now the same old story repeats.
It is so silly that, if the Prime Minister of India wants to take, he or she would not take just 1 Cr but nothing less than 100 Cr; and that is the prestige (sic) of an Indian Prime Minister!
Now even a child in a remote place knows that the market rate of an MP is between 25-40 Cr.
Whom the BJP is tryingd to tell that their MP was bought for only 1 Cr.
In our Pakistan, there used to be a joke about the Military Rulers (Yahya Khan) when they lost East Pakistan in a war with India!
We used to say Military does not know how to rule nor do they know how to wage a war! And the Pakistani public booted that Military Govt.

The the only agenda for all those great leaders now is what ever may come .... prevent a representative of the majority in India ... a dalit from becoming PM. They will do anything for it.
Just watch out. All those high strata ones, Basu, Chatterjee, Advani, Rahul, Sonia, Chidambaram... every one of them is united and have a secret pact on this, after the rumour that Mayavathi is being projected as PM by the third front. They know this will have long standing and deeper implecations on Indian politics, all over India.
So, starts the tricks and games ... currency, walk out, betrayal, and so and so on.
Only agenda now for every body ... prevent a Dalit from becoming PM.

What is the source of your information? U R shooting the messanger & not even willing to know about the culprit.
HOW SUCH HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY ALLOWED IN THE LOK SABHA - TOMORROW THEY MAY CARRY ANYTHING IN THE BAG. THIS IS SOMETHING BAD POLITICS - BJP MP SHOULD HAVE REPORTED TO THE POLICE BEFORE ACCEPTING MONEY OR TO THEIR LEADERS. HOW THEY CAN CARRY SUCH MONEY IN THE LOK SABHA - WHAT THEY WANT TO PROVE THEY ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS.
