what a shame
by amit on Jul 22, 2008 05:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This shows the govt will go any measure to save its ass with the help of money power. The news is splashed across the world, what a shame on India's democracy across the world, the politicians who have indulged in this and the powers who have been doing this have absolutely no morals or standards and should never be voted back to power.

FORGET SONIA, EVEN BUSH CAN BE PM OF INDIA IF HE BRIBES HIS WAY
by D S on Jul 22, 2008 05:44 PM  Permalink

WHY DO INDIAN ACCEPT THIS AUTOCRACY AS DEMOCRACY??

Popularity rating means nothing in India. You can be most disliked yet be the President of certain party and then force yourself on people by bribing system and ticket (MP/MLA ticket) distribution system. Even choose a country PM.

DEMOCRACY IS DEAD IN INDIA, autocratic/anarciC ticket (MP/MLA ) distribution BY CARTEL and dynasty makes democracy dead. The rest is done by bribes and favours.

People CANNOT directly elect the PM or CM. IT WAS MUCH MORE EASIER TO REMOVE BRITISH THAN THE "CURRENT WRONG" run by the vile-wicked-shrewd combinaton of Indians.

THE BRITISH PLANTED POLICIES AND PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WILL NOW RULE AND RUIN INDIA!!!!!

This is how bad india has gone.

BJP is doing nataks (false drama ) of being opposition when they want the right cause to fail so those fighting right cause fail.

BJP and COngress are both useless for India NOW and have very shallow goals.

Lets go for fresh elections
by Sreedhar on Jul 22, 2008 05:42 PM  Permalink

I don't think even if the UPA govt. wins the trust vote, the nulcear treaty problem will be solved, as the govt. would require 2/3rd majority to pass any resolution in parliament and now the congress is struggling to get to the half mark and that too by horse trading...also nothing would India lose with regards to Nuclear deal as the BJP would definetly renegotiate with US (if country feels so).
