Mayawati - PM in waiting
by Ifeelso on Jul 23, 2008 08:02 PM  Permalink

Poor Lady - our sympathies are with her. The only sane advice to her is that she should concentrate on putting UP in oredr or leave it. She wants to create a mess on the National Level. Karat, Bardhan, Naidu all played a joke with her - in full knowledge of the facts. They are more seasoned than her. Why did naidu not accept the offer of PMship? He is not a fool. He knows his limitations and facts if situation.

india needs a break from u.p.
by Pradip Parekh on Jul 23, 2008 01:16 PM  Permalink

india needs a respite from the u.p. politics for next 20 yeears. no pm from u.p. for next 20 years. to help the process let's call u.p. chief minister as the prime minister of u.p. this is a win-win, good for u.p. and good for india.

Mayawati..sister of dalits, but what she planned? She dont want N deal..She will work for dalits..so what happend to otheres. PM have the sole responsibility to take care of all. Making reservation should not be the only criteria to become a PM.
Her motive is to put reservation in Private sector also even in MNCs. By that she will not help dalits but make some more dalits in India.
I dont thing mayawati ka maya Jyada din Chalega.

our govt openly bribed shibu with promise of cm chair. criminals were brought from jails to vote. about bribing bjp members it seems to be a lie as the rate of the time was 25 cr and not 3 cr. anyhow i m with the deal.

Congress is adept at the dirty tricks and all opposition parties have fallen prey to the machinations. CPM is no exception as Mr Somanath did not heed their advice.

mayawati
by Shriniwas Kelkar on Jul 23, 2008 11:49 AM  Permalink

Shrewed and inteligent that she is, she must have thought that it was not a real possibility to become PM if the UPA would have lost. Karat is not that much of a kingmaker that he can dictate all others to go by his whims and wishes. Even if al the third front supports Behenji, where were the numbers for her to say that BJP and congress did not want to see a dalit mahila becoming the PM?

I think it is time to understand that all the laws of concessions to the dalit community have been passed by the brute majority of the higher caste people and such comments by her are uncalled for. Whether one likes it or not but Without the support of the higher classes the reservations would never have taken effect.

Mayawati's Ambition of PM
by Thomas on Jul 23, 2008 11:23 AM  Permalink

Every indian can dream of becoming a PM as our country is a democratic country. However India has become one of the most leading countries from the status of 'Developing Country'.Now this country requires highly Qualified people to lead rather than uncivilized,Oppurtunist.Mayawati can be a CM of UP but to get an all India Majority would be an Uphill task.If BJP supports her probably she will be the PM but it is highly remote.Since Congress is an Ally to SP there is no chance of supporting her.But a Dream is always a Dream....

All bullshit nonsense by some hardcore rightwing fanatic.
India has a constitution that gives a number of freedom and rights to all citizens. India does not belong to Hindus, you have to pay for plots to build your home. It is applicable to all. The writer probably is under assumption that since he belongs to the majority community, India belongs to him.

Justice.
Are you aware that a piece of land given to Amarnath temple board with a view to promote tourism in J&K has to be taken back and duly elected govt of Mr Azada has to go in differnce to the wishes of muslim bigots. Hindu by voiltion is secular as he accepts 'Plurality'. It is only those who follow one preiost and one book that need all lessons of secularism, the most abused word. Try to undwerstand the things in right perspective.

Is there even a single Muslim or Christian majority country in the world pracising Secularism.You,non-hindus, are enjoying in this country only because of Hindus. History is the proof that when in majority, Muslims have either forcibly cnverted people of other faith to Islam or butchered them as they are Kafirs. If Hindu alone are at fault, then why Mulims are angry with America, U.K. and other countries? Any answers?
