NDA falling apart
by All Right on Jul 22, 2008 09:54 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

With the rise of the UNPA, LK Advanis;s Prime Ministerial bid has nose dived. BJP can by themselves hope to regain the Center without allies. The needed allies in Andhra Pradesh, UP, NE, West Bengal, Assam etc. All those parties which BJP were eyeing like TRS, TDP, TC, BSP, NC have joined the 3rd Front.

As a result a trickle of defections from BJP-NDA is nowing threatening to turn to a flood.

However, a UPA win will burst the UNPA bubble as the reward for all Mayawati's poaching of MPs will be that she will be tried for corruption. Once UNPA disintegrates, these parties will flock back to either the NDA or UPA.

UNPA is no threat to BJP. Look who are the part of it Ajit Singh , D Gowda, LEFT and Mayawati. Only common thing among them is that none of them can be trusted.. Infact they will only help BJP in splitting congress and SP vote bank

Hey MY CLONE:

The story is about Iran -- not about Advani.... but let that not deter you.... ;-)

Coz Manmohan has other tasks to complete for Bush... ;-)
Notwithstanding his repeated assurances of the sovereignity of our foreign policy... :-)

Not that those assurances are worth the paper they are written on.... going by his current track record of what he says and what he does... ;-)

Iran

India had always special relations with Iran. Iran stood by India in every international forum. Iran has never so far spoken directly or indirectly against Indian interests may be it Kashmir or any other case. India has to be reciprocal.US is not a reliable partner to any one so far, they know their interests only.

democrats
by numb nut on Jul 22, 2008 09:49 AM  Permalink

are always bad for India, and Gary Ackerman is no diffrent. They are somewhat like socialists and are against foreign aid, against outsourcing, against strategic interests with a non-white country etc. And they would like to run away from Iraq leaving Iraq free to Al-qaeda. Heres 3 cheers to John Mccain. Even at the height of US India animosity in 1971 when Pakistan and China were the allies of US, US did not attack India.

IRAN FACTOR

The honeymoon between India and the US will be over as soon as it takes in the form N-deal. Anybody can feel the consequences thereafter. Why are we not, as a nation, negotiating with other countries from strength? See China. With whatever said & done, right or wrong, no nations including USA can shake them. They want to do what exactly they want to do and that shows their strength.

It is not our coal and gas resources that will be running out (our coal resources would last another 100 years), but Gulf oil which will be running out in another 30-40 years.
