Celebration of evil

During the reign of Kauravas, Pandavas were falsely defeated in open court in presence of all the so called "great" people like Dhritarashtra, Bhishma etc. This was the trigger point of Mahabharat war.

The kauravas, laughed and mocked at the "loser" pandavas, congratulating themselves on their "victory".

Draupadi was to be stripped naked in the entire court but was saved by Krishna.

Remember when all this happened "Kauravas" were rulers of Hastinapur. Pandavas were the so called opposition and Draupadi possibly was the country/democracy. Her clothes were honesty and integrity.

Unknowingly one person said the truth , yes it is Mahabharat but the war is not started what has happened is the insult and humiliation of India and its honest people.

The BJP is not a saint organization in India. They are as corrupted as congress. To blame congress for horsetrading without any proof is nonsense. Show me the proof about horsetrading. The media believes in the fake string operation. Ignorant Indian people believe what the media say. The Indian media is one of the most immature media in the world.

Well Congress is the "mother" of all bad things in India because its during their tenure that all these things evolved and were fine tuned.

No wonder they are masters of these games, people who blame others never realise that Congress started these things during its rule over India. they have been in power for far too long.

Show me the proof first, then talk. There is no proof about horse trading. The BJP supporters should be ashamed of bjp goons showing money in parliament. They made up sting video at their houses with the help of immature Indian media.

How many proofs you want Mr Patel? Nation has not yet forgotten JMM scandal. All the proofs are lying in libraries, FBI rooms and courts. I know its very difficult for congie boot-lickers to believe that horse-trading happened.

Lalu Yadav read poem in Parliament which is open for interpretation. When he says Adwani can not become PM because he is not Bajpayee, it is open for interpretation. Is he saying this because Adwani is Amar Singh of Gujrat lead by Narendra Modi? Is he saying b’cos Adwani is not a Bhaiya like Bajpayee so he can not become PM? Only Lalu can explain. He said fate of country is decided by North. Who he was indicating this to? To Thackerays? Or to Narendra Modi? Amar Singh of UP breaks around a dozen of MPs from BJP. Mayawati of UP breaks half a dozen of SP. How many Thackerays got? How many Narendra Modi got? BJP should know their limit. By siding with evil like Thackerays and Modi they have damaged themselves. Thackeray should smell the danger now-Lalu and Mulayam have tightened their grip over Delhi. Mayawati's elephant will eneter in Maharashtra on her own. No wonder Thackeray has started spiting venom against her but he should not spit venom against Mayawati or else he will be forced to run to Bangladesh sooner than later. Make no mistake, in all this political 'akhada', BJP is counting on its leader Narendra Modi who has openly claimed that he is only concerned about 5.5 Cr people(no disrespect to them) and openly challenged rights of Republic of India to collect tax from his state. How narrow but fortunately in coming days we will hear less and less of Thackerays and Modis.

Modi is as big a man a Maya herself. It is true that Thackereys will be lost in the wilderness but, Believe me, On the national scene, Maya's biggest challenge finally, will not be any of today's congressis or even the next generations guys of any other party but Modi alone. He is a force to reckon with.

Bribes in Politics
by Radhakrishna Iyer on Jul 23, 2008 04:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is quite surprising that TV has the audacity to talk about bribes. Hardly a month has passed since the BJP was installed in Karnataka and they have been buying MLAs from the JD(s) and Congress. Tell me did these elected members suddenly fall in love with the BJP or where there pecuniary benefits at work here? Is this really the difference in the party with the difference? You may say they resigned their seats but is that not horse trading when an elected member opts out and moves to an opposing party. This entire piece is an attempt to show PM Manmohan Singh as a lackey of the Congress President. The entire effort of the Sangh Parivar be it in politics or those commenting on these columns in readers views - some barely literate people who spew venom on the PM and as a whole they are 'Gobbelsian' in repeating the same rubbish. Manmohan Singh has repeatedly resigned when he has felt offended or slighted. Don't take my word for it by look into his life and see. Why then should this proud Sikh continue in office when his track record shows something else.

The currency notes so dramatically produced in the house have their own story to tell and a proper investigation will prove its veracity if any. If not those guilty of this drama will be punished. I was also surprised to note the tough on terrorism stamp accorded to the NDA government where the Foreign Minister chaperoned a few terrorists safely to Kandahar and the Home Minister did not know what was happening!

R Iyer: If a member, MP or MLA leave a party on will and join another party is not horse-trading. BJP win the Karnataka assembly confidence without buying any MLAs. Six independents supported them. Now, any MLAs join BJP govt is their own choice. Perhaps, MLAs in Cong-JD don't want to remain 5 years out of power. SO, they joined BJP. They resigned from their previous parties, and have to get elected in six months. This is not horse-trading. If some BJP members in Maharastra leave the party and join Congress, it is not horse-trading. Let we be more objective in assessment.

It is immature to compare Karnataka episode with Indian parliament episode just to support the evil cause. In Karnataka BJP is a clear winner and only short of 2 seats to form the govt. Whereas Congress did not have 1/2 of what is required to form the government in center. They had to woo as many small parties as possible to form government and when big fish (Communists) withdraws support they have to survive on several small fishes. There is no secret that its their duty to to appease all as nothing in this political world comes for free. To the worst, our PM had to join hands with all sorts of goons like Mulayam, Amar Singh, Lalu etc. to come out of the danger.

Coming to performance of this government, people have aptly replied in several assembly elections.

NDA was tough on terrorism because they caught the culprits at least (Now UPA protecting all of them in Jails in the name of secularism). The Afghan flight episode was bad, but India was not ready to sacrifice its travelers and the Congress supported the decision to bring the innocent travelers back. Advani did not like the idea of exchanging terrorists for innocent travelers.

The prime thing is whether N-deal good or bad for the country. It was initiated by NDA, but apparently the safeguards were changed by US soon after UPA took over. This is the sole reason BJP rejected N-deal in present format. Please read more articles on this issue for bettering your assessment.

Terrorism has been growing all over the world. Even secure countries like US, UK, Spain, France etc were not free from terror attacks. There was at least an anti-terror law to deal with terrorists during NDA rule. There is no justification to remove the law in the name of secularism. All the terrorists are now treated with respect in Jails and our Jawans had to die for nothing and treated badly.

Mr. Readiff (Not to be confused with Rediff) - by you are justifying BJP Horse Trading only because there were a couple of MLAs short tells the world who is immature!

The Jihadi events are broadly of two types - those who are courtesy of the Rabble elements inhuman acts where they have been abetted by the State Machinery. A good example is the Akshardham temple attack immediately after the Gujarat Genocide. The other type is that fanned by the ISI to further their goal of attacking India.

the NDA rules were well used by the Modi regime so much so that innocent Muslims were arrested and detained without trial. You cannot trust such laws in the hands of Fundamentalists whose only intention is riding roughshod over the minorities with State Patronage. Let us see the adverse effects of the BJP rule in Karnataka - already there are bomb blasts there in Bengaluru

I guess Muslims never had a better opportunity than yesterday to claim the PM Seat.....NCP/PDP/IUML/MIM could have collectively bargained with UPA Or UNPA/CPM/CPI/BSP to covet the PM Post for one of their members...may be Asaduddin Owaisi as PM....and solved the Nuke deal prob/ Amarnath Shrine board prob/ Iran gas pipeline prob/minority backwardness prob etc....n in their eagerness to please us, none of the parties would have said NO.

Lack of vision of Muslim leaders? May be.

They should learn to teach their sons and daughter, improve the economic condition, work heard rathet than working hard for giving birth to more and more ... which leads to them becoming poorer and poorer...
but I agree they have no Vision... how can they have ? they have no eye ... hee hee

Cong. as every one knows is the most disgusting significant party currently.
However, we all had great respect for MMS.
It is imp. to note that he remained at best a silent spectator to JMM case and he remained silent spectator again.

And, even, BJP doesnt come out clean even if we give the benefit of doubt in allegations.
What happened to the discipline in the party with an RSS background ?? Their members could be bought so easily ? and so many of them ?
The party needs to do a complete relook of people it is offering tickets to.
