at this movement BJP shud hv acted as matured opposition party, It shud hv discussed the DEAL with UPA and after study it shud hv supported it. IT wud hv wiped out regional parties and crooks like Amarsingh, mulayam, mayavati, All communista, shibu, Both chandras etc. and the next election cud hv neen straight contest netween BJP & congress in which they cud hv taken up inflation as a issue.
In order to discuss the deal with UPA, they should have been able to discuss the deal with UPA.... ;-)
If UPA didn't even discuss it with their own allies the Left, citing "secrecy" reasons, how do you think BJP could have discussed it with UPA?
Obviously Congress needs to learn the tact of "taking along everyone" on issues requiring broad consensus...... having ruled the country with brute majority for most part of the last 60 years, it obviously doesn't know how to do that.... :-)
It demands support, and does not know how to command it... that's the real problem...

no one got a chance to talk to UPA because of UPA's backdoor habit. They even didn't take left into confidence (left being the partner in Govt); damn NDA.... MMS and Sonia are the curse to India.

u hv a point but advani a vetran & a leader of opposition shud hv initiated the movement publicly and then UPA cud not hv said NO in fact then the deal wud hv been made public.
MMS will win the Confidence Motion. It will benefit the nation yaar. But it's good idea that whenever a serious issue arises like this, public voice should be heard

Absolutely right I agree with that.Time has come for Congress and BJP to get unite against all regional parties and making mockery of democracy.How a single MP can decide the fate of whole nation. Though I am staunch supporter of BJP but I feel its time to help Congree this time and to think above religion politics.One must not forget, babri masjid was pulled down in Narsimha Rao's govt.
Only BJP seem to be non-opposing US deal and undivided. Others are just shifting parties for their own good. That tells how patriotic are these BJP guys.

By writing the letter to his party to not to vote alongwith the BJP, Somnath has already taken sides in this debate and is no longer the neutral speaker the Country needs..
