Why rebels ? They are the original members.Subhas Chakraborty can gather 1 lac people in a days time in KOLKATA maidan for a rally which Karat cannot dream off. All the leaders from Bengal are more dominant in CPIM wrt to gathering masses. Karat is just a kid who has only seen JNU politics. He is at best a student leader and has to learn hoe to tackle stalwarts like Somnath and Subhas.It is unfortunate that the Bengal CPIM leaders have allowe a kit to become General Secretary of a party. He has ruined Left's image totally.In Bengal, they will be shattered because of Kart's policy only.

Communists are always telling that power will decay the mind of individual and hence they are not interested to get power, but work for the people in field. Here also, their thinking has become correct as Somnath has decayed his political prestige and respect he got from the respected people through whom he got elected in Parliament!!! This may be the last chance to sit in Parliament and he may never get elected in any other future elections as people will not give him any chance to this greatest man who fell down with wrong prestige!!!
