Here in India, they are going to get another jolt tomorrow.
Beginning of an End to RED politics in this subcontinent. They are already wiped out from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, and Bhutan. Only hindus can tolerate the traitors, the sold out souls.

Good job MMS
by jamesbonduncle on Jul 21, 2008 10:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its time for indians to snatch the power from the able educated selfishless politicians and give it to poets and selfish people. When will indians sense good or bad. MMS is being cursed all over, because of his policies and justice to his work. He is a able politician and a highly educated minister. Recently i was going through one magazine which showed his assets, they were almost as much as a common man. Regarding nuclear deal, my perception to it is something is better than nothing. Truely india is a developing country and it needs energy for its development. With enough cheap power, we can improve our agriculture and other industries. This will inturn help us improving our economy and making us one big power in the world. MMS and his group are doing a good job. Let us be a part of his good plans. Dont help the evil people by aligning to their evil roles. Poets and other senseless people wont be of any help to us. We need people like MMS who are honest in their work

MMS is a learned person, a very intelligent one. One at the same he sucks at being a politician. He has acted as puppet of Sonia. He may not be a bad person, but he has not done a single good thing as a PM.

somnath wishes to cast his prerogatory vote as Speaker of LokSabha
by mallaiah anchoori on Jul 21, 2008 10:35 PM  Permalink

Seeing the critical & crisis situation & guided by the previous precedents of either losing as in case of Vajpaye govt or surviving as in case of P.V.Narsimha Rao govt in the past, just by ONE VOTE,Somnath appears to be keenly bent upon saving the govt,in case o f a tie,by casting his prerogatory vote as speaker in its favour.
He also does not want to lose the enjoyment of all the pleasures of foreign tours and the hospitalities extended to high dignitaries and hence wants to attend the Commonwealth Parliamentary association to be held very shortly at Kaulalampur.

Mr Modi looking for his own MPs

The Manmohan Singh-led UPA Government appears confident of securing the trust vote on Tuesday, and if sources are to be believed, it is banking on abstentions by the Trinamool Congress and possibly 10 others from the opposition National Democratic Alliance. (NDA)

India is predominantly a left of centre Democracy. This whole saga is going to unfold in such a way that the rightist forces will have to beat the retreat.

you can already see this on the wall since BJP MP"s are planning on abstaining.

Centre and left of centre forces will dominate India which means that Congress will be one Pole and the other pole will be the parties under UNPA and Left Parties. BJP will share the same space as the Congress and Rightism will retreat into the background

Somnath Chatterjee-shameless doublespeak
by deepak deshpande on Jul 21, 2008 10:31 PM  Permalink

Somnath Chatterjee has destroyed his own stature by the display of lust for power. If as he claims- the post of speaker is above party affiliation - then how can he in the same breath say while still a speaker ,that he can not vote with BJP? A speaker above party affiliation must not criticise BJP

Trust Vote
by krishankarora on Jul 21, 2008 10:23 PM  Permalink

Speakers sticking to his principles is a very right thing to do. In the fight of principles, it is indirect help of the UPA who in my view has so far acted on nice principles by having a saintly person like Dr Manmohan Singh to head the govt. Dr Singh must also thank his stars that he got Madam Sonia Gandhi's full support with him. Only one Congress MP rebelled and that too based on local politics of Haryana where his father Bhajan Lal is having an internal fight there. I feel that in forthcoming polls the people will be more wiser who to bring in power to have allaround progress in our motherland.
