bvut what about the people who elect them as their representatives. do they have the same opinion what she has?????
Leftists are Jokers and Corrupt Chinese Bootlickers.....they have no future. Bengal and Kerala should never ever vote them. Present Left leadership is absolutely incapable of any ability other than fulfilling personal ambitions. Karat,Bardhan and Sitaram are small time minnows who will put the front into a black-hole ...a point of no return and a heavy loss for them in near future.

We again say that MMS and Company are selling our country. Who gave permission to Congress leaders to give classified advertisment, "India on Sale"? Legal experts say that an Italian Sardar cannot sell our India.
Bjp is upset with the growing influence Mayabehen (good for nothing -she should be dummped to Bengal creek). due to fear factor most of the bjp mps will ramain absent coz any bjp has good chances in the next LS poll...Mayabehen is completly ingnoring bjp & NDA..with the support of Naidu (who already lost credibility & no massbase)she can;t claim the top post...she is overconfident. Elephant is surely going to crash & wont be able to pass thu. India gate. Any way white elephant is no good for indian poltics

Uneducated? hahahahahaha...Go and check her credentials you moron. Atleast she has a degree unlike the white skin lady you guys are drooling at
A classic case of shameless MP! The people talk high about all morals and ethics in public and when it come to themselves, they want only money. They can stoop to any depth for the sake of money. A national shame for electing such people as MPs. While they expect every citizen to cast their vote and show their loyalty to the nation, what about an MP elected by lakhs of people not bothered to cast her vote in such a crucial nationally important issue? Such persons should be banned from contesting elections for a lifetime!

MAMTA joined Congress. About 10 lakh jobs directly and indirectly will be available in Singur Tata Car Factory. Congress gave her full support to kill 150 people inlcuding 27 CPI(M) cadres in Singur and Nandigram.

She has taken a right decision, not to go to parliament. Neither BJP nor Congress has right to do this mockery at people's money. This is simply a circus organised by Mr. Karat. When the election is anyway round the corner, what is the point of having this trust vote at people's money tomorrow?? Shame our other politicians. Rather all MPs should have opted not to vote and give a lession to Mr. Karat and go for a general election.

She is abstaining only from voting, not from attending Parliament! Read carefully all political comments. One can say yes or no on nationally important issues, atleast when holding a public position representing lakhs of voters. A shame to be indecisive and still want to continue in politics and power. Great ambitions without worth would not lead her to anywhere. A great Bengali Shame!

Let us too take some responsibility for this situation. MOst of us talk so high & loud about all these but at the time of election instead of going by the party/candidate's credential what we keep in mind is the caste/religion of the candidate. Democracy is dangerous for country like us where literacy level is so low.

If the "angry Hindu" ever does an objective study of the ground realities he will realize that he has nothing to be angry about. In fact he has every reason to be happy to find that in practice the Indian state has moved very far from the secular state that was promulgated at Independence in 1947. He should be happy at the near monopoly that he has in the socio-economic life of India, in employment in the burgeoning private and multinational corporations, the government undertakings, the political parties, the better higher education institutions and the society at large. It is time for the "angry Hindu" to realize that he is being misled and used by the opportunistic right wing politicians. He should cool his misplaced anger at the Indian Muslims and find ways to reduce the heightened tensions in the nation that is hurting India's well-being at a critical time.

I definitely agree with you on one thing - that the Indian state has moved very far from the secular state that was promulgated at Independence in 1947. Now it has become a appeasiing government - pseudo secularism. A truly secular government should not divide the people as majority or minority, rather it should abstain from taking the name of religion for any purpose. All should be equal citizens, irrespective of their numbers and their vote bank politics!
