Yes guys, this may the reason she is sitting back and helping Left and BJP to make the govt fall - had she understood Nuke Deal - she would have voted - Inflation and commodities prices are rising and govt is taking measures to overcome it - if she has better solutions why did she not reach Congress and suggest - bcos if Congress is able to curb, she would never come up in politics - this is cheap dirty politics - every leader says give me Power - i will do good - why can't opposition help the govt in curbing the commodities prices by suggestion rather than making the govt fall.

At least she is not sold her soul and people's trust on her even for 100 crs. like the other MPs. I'm not saying that she is right always but this reflects her dignity for sure ...

What do you think this is, then? Voting in favour or against has a price and so also abstaining has a price. Everything comes with a price tag. Pick up whichever is convenient to you. Abstaining helps Congress more than anybody else.

This is called hiding n running away frm responsibility.. If she doesn't want to get involved thn better she should resign..
Abstaining from voting is not so great a thing nor good in the interests of the nation which is going through such a political turmoil that country had never witnessed so far.By absenting herself on that fateful day,Mamata is doing a great injustice to the nation. It is not a characteristic of wise. She needs to choose a lesser evil in case she is not thoroughly convinced either ways. One vote matters & may change the sequence of political vents that follow. It is hoped that wiser counsels will prevail on her, belatedly, at least now & Mamata participates in voting! It is this trend which widely prevalent in Indian voter-mostly in middle class & rich that is reducing the mandate given to all the people elected that make democracy meaningless & non-reflective & non-representative, exactly of the will of the whole people of the country collectively.Mamata is just proving like a typical mediocre Indian voter despite being a seasoned politician who should have been well aware of the value of a vote-so much so on such occasions.By absenting, she is going to fail to represent the people who elected her.People, for sure, will not excuse her & think twice before they consider her as their choice once again in any of the future elections. She should shun her haughtiness.Let her be not under a false impression that she is sacrificing some thing in a bid to express anger against some one.She can settle the scores later.First let her participate in voting;she can cast according to her choice.

VERY CRITICAL POLITICS HERE IN WEST BENGAL AND IT IS NOT SO EASY TRUCK. HERE IN WEST BENGAL THERE IS NO CONGRESS PARTY BUT "B" TEAM OF CPM.(ORIGINAL CONGRESS PEOPLE ARE NOT OPERATING WEST BENGAL CONGRESS) AGAIN THEY WILL KISSES IN CENTRE AFTER MP ELECTION.
NOW THE TIME IS LITTLE DIFFERENT. NOW THE CONGRESS WILL QUEREL WITH CPM IN WEST BENGAL AND MAMTA WILL TAKE THE CREAM AND MANAGE A SIZABLE MP TO SUPPORT TO THE NDA.
With the rise of the UNPA, LK Advanis;s Prime Ministerial bid has nose dived. BJP can by themselves hope to regain the Center without allies. The needed allies in Andhra Pradesh, UP, NE, West Bengal, Assam etc. All those parties which BJP were eyeing like TRS, TDP, TC, BSP have joined the 3rd Front.
As a result a trickle of defections from BJP-NDA is nowing threatening to turn to a flood.
However, a UPA win will burst the UNPA bubble as the reward for all Mayawati's poaching of MPs will be that she will be tried for corruption. Once UNPA disintegrates, these parties will flock back to either the NDA or UPA.

Shakti, When you cannot even spell Sonia properly thereby proving that you are an uneducated idiot, how are you pointing fingers at others? Look at your English grammer. You have advertised your lack of education from rediff, showing your foolishness.
where you condduct english grammer classes????? soniya's residence, I guess. how do you know about my qualification????? Whenever you feel i am grammatically wrong, just rectify & re-post, you can earn handsomely.
Mamta tried reading the nuclear agreement, and could not get beyond the first few lines. I think this is just an honest admission on her part that she absolutely cannot add value to whatever discussions will take place.
Somebody should help her.She is totally gone mad. What about the votes and belief peole have entrusted in her.Shameless politics. Can she explain what is securalism? Then she should fight for reservation based on quota. She is cheating people of bengal.
she is heading towards the path Leftiest is going on. afterall she also earned her bread & butter from politics & she wants so-called minorities votes also.
come from a place where CPI and CPM has got very strong presence. Here are few facts about the great commuist leaders 1.A popular CPM leader A.Kanaran asked his party men to ut down the coconut tress belonging to muslims during the communal clashes in Kozhikode. He was behind the killing of many muslims in that riot. 2.The christian leaders in left conducts their children's marriage only in the church to which they belong eg:-MM Lawrence 3.Kerala CM achudhanandhan's(the so called fighter against corruption) son was appointed as MD of Coir board when he was just a fresh MBA from an ordinary college. Is it any better than corruption 4.Achudhanandhan had abused TJ anjalose(the MP from alappuzha) by calling him a fisher man('Mean perukki nadanna cherukkan') which clearly shows how much castiest he is. 5.during the Nayanar govt's rule home ministry was controlled by P.Sasi(Nayanar's PA,now A top leader in kannur and having businesses in Kuwait) and he took bribes along with the then DJP(Its a shame that he shares his surname with one of the great PM of India) for officer's transer and many govt orders regarding the disputes between different divisions in kerala. Nayanar was an inefficeint minister (a good joker) and was corrupt. 6.Few communist followers from my village went to see Pinarayi VIajayan's(CPM party secretary, kerala) house and was really surprised to see such a huge bungalow.they were all telling that it's party's money when reality is it's his earnings fro
