left- isolated
by Anpu mani on Jul 20, 2008 02:56 PM  Permalink

the end of UNPA means the return of bipolar politics with regional parties flocking around the two main national parties. This certainly is a matter of concern for the Left that looks a little alone now.

I want to ask one question to Mr. Siddiqui, 'Are you more intelligent than Dr. Kalam'??? Who in his opinion had already said that 'N-Deal is good for India'.

Clarity
by Vikram on Jul 20, 2008 02:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a pity that most of the Indians don't have a clarity in their opinion regarding Nuclear deal, which is a very strategic issue that can be seen by the polarization in the national political scene. Signing Nuclear deal will rise the stature of India in global politics by a big margin, while opposing it will make India worse than Africa. When you are not progressive and development oriented, no one will want to shake hands with India except the rogue nations of the world. Nuclear deal will send a symbolic message.

Positive/Negative
by Abhinav on Jul 20, 2008 02:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Positive Points: India will have access to fuel which it has always wanted to use for peaceful purposes. India is looking forward to be a major US partner, permanent member of the UN Security Council and fix its image as a global power.
Negative Points: US will have an edge over India which US always wanted after India refused to sign NPT. Some points in the deal may create misunderstandings causing tensions between India and US, US may be able to pressure India in future by making false allegation of the violation of terms of the deal.

Do you know what is the percentage of nuclear energy production in US out of whole?

by YASAR IMRAN on Jul 20, 2008 02:35 PM  Permalink
It has nothing whatsoever to do with US's nuclear production. The deal will facilitate Govt. of India to directly get fuel supply from Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

I condemn SHAHID SIDDIQUI's going on lap of Mayawati. This person also does not represent Muslims, as he claimed. Also, he is Rajya Sabha MP.

We indian must understand the fact that "these politicians are ememies till 18.00 o'clock" and they do pseudo-war with each other in front of audience and hence vote of confidence won't change present condition of india, simply wastage of hard money of genuine tax payers.

by parvinder on Jul 20, 2008 02:21 PM  Permalink

It is nothing loyalty or benefits/against Ndeal, it is only that Siddiqui found more money and opportunities offered by BSP.
