If the deal wins, one should appreciate the heroic stand taken by the one man,Prakash karat, WHO GAVE HIS EVERYTHING FOR WHAT HE SINCERELY BELIEVED IN.
WHAT A MAN!!!!!!!!!
He will stand tall among those cameleons, who just do not have his conviction and determination.

Way to go for THE REDS.

In my youth i campaigned, voted and fought for the SFI. But years later on... i have realised that the Party is different and the communist are two seperate things. They have got nothing to do with each other. No party has principles.

Maya ki Maya
by Asif Mohd on Jul 20, 2008 03:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In the past, Maya has dumped and disgraced BJP twice in UP, after enjoying herself the chief Ministership for her full term. The third time they (Maya - Advani) are coming together for self interest. May be (though very remote) they may enjoy PM ship (fifty - fifty). After that LKA can visit Jinnah again to pay obeisance and also dance on dama-dum-mast-kalander. If required can also let off some more terrorists in Kandahar, keep quite as home minister while Gujarat is burning and world is watching, and yet claim to be a true nationalist.
Maya (ex-Govt. primary school teacher and presently as head of BSP) has already collected millions worth of jewellery and billions worth of property for self and relatives. As a PM she may accept "gifts" from well wishers and others
in form of Aircrafts, properties in UK/USA, Imported Cars, etc., all for the cause of "Bahusan Samaj". Hail Indian Democracy.

Now is not our sidha sada MMS a far better choice for PM ship for another five years. A cultured, soft spoken, well qualified, ex-bureaucrat and above all an honest and internationally acclaimed personality ?

i HOPE I OUR LIFETIME THEY will really think of uplifting economic backward iresspective of cast/religion and think of india's interest...

We are really missing leaders like Madhorao scindia ,Ashok gehlot.who were dynamic....and others too .Iam not blamin all leaders but still 1-2 voice is hardly heard these days......

I think our country which is govrened by corrupt leaders and opurtunistic leaders/and poeple who believe in interest of other countries.....wht will happen to our people.
Either we losse our democratic staus and become dictorship by an able guy or simply nlive to die...and watch helplessly......

Just becoz you don't like LKA, doesn't mean he will not become PM !

Muslims of this country will anyway oppose BJP or any party which supports nationalism.

Dear Sledge hammer,

With due respect I would like to tell you that you are not correct in guessing that Muslims of this country will anyway oppose BJP or any party which supports nationalism. First the definition of nationalism is to be understood in its proper sense. Dividing society on religious lines, with one eye on the PM chair, is not nationalism. LKA has used the muslim "bait" to divide the society beginning in late 80's, after he found that religion was a very soft issue that can be encashed for achieving his lifetime ambition. It was especially after the success of the Teleserial Ramayan, which attracted all hindus and non hindus to great extent for a long period of time.
Just imagine a scene where there are no Muslims (or even Christians) in India. What would have advani done then. Probably he would have then divided the society on basis of North Indians v/s South Indians, Hindi Speaking v/s Non Hindi Speaking, Upper Castes v/s lower caste...etc.
Yes, personally most muslims do not like LKA because they know that he has used them as bait in his ambition for power, and most Hindus have fallen to his trap. He has used Lord Rama as a stepping stone, and while they were in power, he simply forgot the Ram Temple. He has started a fire at one end of the forest and slowly that fire has engulfed the whole forest comprising 18 crore muslims of this country. Neither did they build the Babri masjid nor did they destroy the babri masjid. 99% of the muslims have nothing to

Cant understand
by Silent Sea on Jul 20, 2008 03:36 PM  Permalink

First, Siddique may be a leader who is muslim, but definitely not a leader of muslims. I am an Indian Muslim and I support this deal fully becoz it is in the best interest of the country for long term. I know that inflation is an issue and must be handled at a war footing. However, I do not think any other Government could have done much about it. BJP knows that this deal is good for the country, yet for petty political gains, wants to go against National interest. Th e rest of the smaller parties are just opportunustic thieves who would sell the country if they are offered money. I am ashamed of the way the politicians are bringing shame to our country.
