This guy Shahid Siddiqui has no stance on anything. Just before we could read his rediff interview supporting the deal, the guy has changed sides and is now oppposing the nuclear deal. Does Mayawati have the right credentials to be the PM of India ? Didnt he sleep her way to the top (Kanshi Ram . etc etc). Dont call me casteist, I dont give a shit about caste , but this lady is darn corrupt. We expect a certain dignity at the PM's office - though we have kinda resigned to the fact that MPs/MLAs can be criminals and leeches. I hope all this ends well for India. Its funny, this guy says people are corrupt on either side of the deal. I find scumbags on both sides. .We have no alternative in India. Strange country we are - At one end we have people like Lakshmi Mittal, Indra Nooyi, Narayana Murthy and the other end we have Amar Singh, Mulayam, ... Talk about contrasts.

Do u mean to say Laxmi Mittal,Indra Nooyi etc never resorted to corrupt practice,wake up man,most if not very businessman/business captain would definitely have resorted to corrupt/unthical practices at sometime of their career.But I support ur view that India desreves better politicians than what we have got today.
Mr. Shahid Siddique should have joined the BJP because Mayawati will eventually fall at Advanji's feet to gain power and have all the corruption cases against her withdrawn as she had done on previous occassions.

In this day and age, if there can be a Daniel Pearl incident, imagine how brutal the Mughals/Slave dynasty etc would have been on kafirs. No wonder peoplelike Shahid Siddiqui's ancestors changed sides - one day they would have opposed islam, the next day when the mughals showed up outside their doors, they would have sworn alleigiance to islam :) thats what happened in Meerut, Lucknow etc .. and left us tonnes of these dirtbags..

shahid siddiqui is an opportunist politician . he is making an opportunity to become minister in mayawati cabinet nothing else.
In case mayawati is out of power u never know he may join congress then perhaps,
I shudder the day when mayawati will be showcased as India's PM. Nothing to do with her caste, but this women has nothing in the name of achievement. She is not even a uniting force of dalits accross the country. She is a local leader who wins elections due to split in minority and majority votes and appeals to the backward and uneducated of UP. Its better to have general elections now and leave the future of India at the hands of the people of India and not these greedy oppurtunistic so called leaders.
Why dont you contest a muncipality election and try to win 1000 votes, u will know what winning elections is. Dude its not as simple as u think. To be a dalit and become a CM of the biggest state is some achievement

given a choice between an indian BEd Elecmentary school teacher and a foreign dishwasher to rule the country....I would definitely choose the elecmntary school teacher...there is absolutely no comparison...in fact its a shock why anyone else would think otherwise...

India would be lucky if we get a school teacher to become its PM. However I dont sense a lot of respect to school teachers in your post. Infact whats wrong with being a dishwasher. I do agree that if a foreigner becomes the PM of India, it sounds weird

I certainly agree with these comments. Who is Siddique to decide what muslims want? It is up to the people of his constituency to decide people like him showed be thrown out in the next election. Myself, being a Muslim, I totally support the nuclear deal and moreover what does he know about America. I am currently working for an American firm, if I hv to listen to Siddique and think about America/Africa so on and so forth, then I would be unemployed and I'm not so lucky where someone is willing to buy me for 25 crores. I appeal to all the Muslims of India, please do not fall trap to these politicians as they do not hv their moral-self to be our guides. Throw out the Communist (Left) out of the veins of Indian politics. Mr. Siddique is a backstabber and he needs to be taught a lesson, so please see to it he be thrown out in the coming elections
