If number games works everywhere outside Indian politics, then Mawawati and Sonia Gandhi can win all titles of Miss universe, Miss World and miss earth too,,,,,,who can stop them then....if left thinks so....poor Indians have no choice but to see the drama....till next election comes to thorw out all this bunch of jockers to Arabian sea.....

The detractors of Mayawati and supporters of Sonia Gandhi should remember one thing. That Mayawati, in all respects, is a better choice than Sonia Gandhi. While Mayawati is singly responsible for bring BSP to this level including winning UP Assembly an absolute majority which no one even imagined, what has been Sonia Gandhi's contribution. The leadership was ready and kept on a golden plate for her. Becos of NDA's overconfidence and a big alliance in Tamil Nadu, UPA swept to power, where the Congress has only 150 seats. State after State slipped from Sonia Gandhi's hands and no one even pointed out a single finger at her. She has not been able to infuse energy in the party though her children have been barking from time to time from all around places. Therefore taking all these into account if Bardhan feels that Mawati has the potential to become, I don't think its incorrect. One should remember, the next Lok Sabha election, Maya is going to sweep UP bagging not less than 60 to70 seats and she will be a major player in the Delhi politics.

Yes, Sonia is way behind in getting votes than Mayadevi, but she is intelligent enough to know who is honest & capable .She selected Manmohan Singh & is supporting even today.She could have easily agreed with Left & her party would not have to face this vote of confidence, but no she is not backing out for small time gains while Maydevi has done it time & again.Being a vote grabber does not necessarily make one a better leader & if the majority thinks otherwise then India will fast lead towards decline.

If anyone of you is imagining that Mayawati came to power due to her capability, ideology, etc its an observation way away from reality. UP was fed up of Mulayam and wanted to show him the door out. They all voted only on one parameter-the most likely to displace Mulayam. Thats precisely how she got into that place. If you observe ground realities of Uttar Pradesh, as on today, you will come to know that she will be shown the door, even today. She has committed enough acts to be marked that way
I agree that majority, closing to cent percent politicians, are corrupt. But still all will agree that if we were to name the most corrupt, there will be just one name. I need not name it.
Mayawati, till recently stayed with Congress only to save herself from the Taj Corridor case. Now that the Congress decided to let law take its course and allow CBI to pursue the case against her, she changed colors. Its her last tenure at any imporatant political posting and she will be consigned to history once her present term ends.
As for the Commies, the Chinese carrot seems to be making them do all to appear buffoons. Sadly the nation is suffering. History shows,they Opposed Computerisation but India prospered due to Computerisation. They opposed Liberalisation, Privatisation & Globalisation and we all see the India grew due to LPG.
The big silver lining is the Congress and CPI(M) finally parting all ways. So Mamta will be back in original fold. So final nail in the coffin of REDs
