We have four firebrand women in our public life who have all the potential to be our PM:Mayawati,Jayalalitha,Mamta Banerji and Sonia.Nothing wrong in giving the PM post by turns to these worthies.Let us start with Mayawati.

BJP's Opposition to the deal
by rohit gupta on Jul 20, 2008 10:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I can't figure out why BJP is opposed to the Nuclear deal. I truly believe they are one party who can Govern in the best interest of Indian's.

Their opposition to the deal stems from the simple fact that they are in the opposition. How i wish they can, for once, get above the politics and purely focus on the good of the nation.

For them to oppose the deal, they would have themselves gladly signed, perhaps even settle for a far inferior one is probably caused by the notion that if the Govt were to fall, that would be their best chance of forming Govt at the next elections.

I have news for them, even if they went ahead and supported the deal, which in turn would help the current Govt to carry on for the full term, BJP would still win the next elections.

While getting the deal across is vital, people of this country ain't naive enough to forget Congress's 4 years of shambolic governance, and simply put Congress back into the office simply on the basis of this deal.

Come on all you BJP leaders and supporters, get behind the deal and make sure it get's across, for it is in the interest of out country.

by rohit singh on Jul 20, 2008 10:20 AM  Permalink

Devgowda meeting PM and saying no to congress!!now he wants to make his son PM.Well this old horse can take turns in last moments, i think the deceit tag put on him is still there. Mayawati aspiring to be PM, great!!! what can be worse than these things. India will be asked by UN to give dalit status!!! And finally, our good PM is indulging in bad things!! Have some shame!! These are our great leaders, who are getting the criminals out keeping all the morals aside.

RE:L K Advani -An ISI Agent
by Anshuman Chakravarty on Jul 20, 2008 10:25 AM  Permalink
First of all there isn't any news like that. Secondly, even if he goes and meets someone from the ISI, how is it related to Nuclear deal? Nuclear deal is not a Defense deal. Its an energy deal. get your facts correct buddy before posting such foolish comments!
