It is really a shame for both BJP and CONGRESS the two largest parties with 130 and 152 MPs being arm twisted by parties with just 1 to 5 MPs.
Why not any of these parties should try to bring Anti Pre-Poll legislation which can validate only pre-poll alliance of MPs and shifting of loyalty should cost the membership of MP in the tune of Anti-Defection Law. And the other party can second it as the total strength of these parties stand at 282 in Lok Sabha.
THIS IS IN THE NATIONAL INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY,
I am a BJP supporter but if Cong make a first move in this regard to CLEAN INDIAN POLITICS, I will definitely vote for Cong.
Similarly millions of Indians can shift their stand for a party who dare to CLEAN INDIAN POLITICS.

Where did you get this number from? In the worst case scenario, even if we bought all the nuclear equipment needed at once to build power plants which will produce 20000MW by 2020, it will cost $120 Billion and India's foreign reserves are $260 billion. Unfortunately, you are correct. Indian politics has really fallen to those depths. India has so much shortage of electricity and all those idiots can come up with are vague reasons like US control of India when by now it is clear that India will dictate which reactors are placed in IAEA safeguards. Also, very clear by now that all defense related Nuclear reactors will be outside nuclear safeguards. But it is very easy to fool a lot of Indian people on complex issues like this and that is what CPM(Chinese traitors) party is exploiting. Just feels bad that a nationalist party like BJP could not help to get this through.. Atleast, they could have said let this deal pass through and then pull the government down.

There are too many mentally challenged bloggers who assume that on 22nd the there is vote on the Nuclear deal. On 22nd there is a vote of confidence for the Manmohan Singh government. It would be absurd even to suggest that the principle opposition party the BJP should ensure that the government survives. If the Nuclear deal is good and the MMS and his boss Sonia Gandhi want to take the credit for tit it is their responsibility to ensure that the deal is signed. The Congress did not need the approval of the parliament to sign this deal. Why did they not sign it for 4 long years? The answer very embarrassing yet real is that the Congress wanted power and if they signed the deal they would have lost their primary objective of retaining power. Why could the Congress managers not get the left on board on an issue that Kapil Sibal claims they could win over Vajpayee and Advani? ‘The left was obstinate and a prisoner of its ideology’ – Moily will claim. Why did the Congress spend 4 ½ years in power with their support? Don’t forget the UPA was created merely to ensure that the BJP was kept out of power . Now for some one to suggest that the BJP should bailout Dr Manmohan Singh would be to say the least stupid .

You are probably more mentally challenged if you do not see the consequences of this trust vote. If MMS looses, there is every chance this deal will be out(for now at least). N. deal is the whole idea being talked about here. Congress had 2 years is correct but initially, the plan was to take left along. If BJP had kept nation's interests first, they could have simply said we support N.deal and then let government fall a month from that. What you are saying is though what you could expect from Indian politicians. Just oppose everything and try to confuse the issues.

Hellow Sandeep If govt need support on deal, then they should ask approval in the parlament by all parties. They should not go for confidence motion. Be clear what they are asking for now? Ramesh
deve gowda sacrificed his PM post becoz he want to have more sleep......as an PM he had hectic schedules and he did not find enough time to sleep....his sleeping at meetings,parliament are an example...
