The CD Approach
by Satya Banerji on Jul 20, 2008 09:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The evolution of India includes the office of our Prime Ministers. Panditji Jawaharlal Nehru and Srimati Indira Gandhi Ji stand far above other individuals who have occupied this office until now. The approach of the second decade of the 21st century is an occasion similar to the one, which led to the emergence of terrestrial life forms from water bodies. We need a person who implements Common Denominators of all indigenous polary, without allegiance to the caucuses of Washington.

So mistaken you are in attributing in Jawaharlal Nehru a class which he never possessed and wqas whimsically dictator in all important maqtters which were exposed mmuch later , very much later w3hen the damages are already done and the reactions are talking heavy toll!
If you ask what are those
the first point that rises in minds is-
Elimination of SUbhas bose through M K Gandhi!
Next is passing of'"HINDU MARRIAGE ACT 1955", against protests by party members and the PRESIDENT Dr Rajendra Prasad BUT THIS LALF KNOWING MAN NEHRU BULLDOZED IT IN THE PARLIAMENT !HAS IT NOT BROKEN MANY MANY HINDU HOMES?
Third, when there wqa sfood crisis he instead of importing agricultural implements , allowed luxury goods' imports at gallore! An eminent member of planing commission objected to it when nehru asked him to shut up!
Many bad actions were silently done and today India is a breeding huse of corrupted life styles!
THE MAJOR MISTAKE NEHRU DID IS HE WANTED TO OUTRIGHT OPPOSE INDIAN PHILOSOPHIC LIFESTYLES!
HE HAD POOR CONCEPTIONS ABOUT IMPROVEMENTS OF MASSES AND WANTED A UNDISPUTED RULING BY HIMESELF!
TODAY THE FOOLISH SUPPORTERS WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING ANY HEAD OR TAIL, ARE LOOKING AT THE NEHRU DYNASTY FOR SOMETHING THAT WILL NEVER COME!
I ndira was better because she made consultati0ns before taking decisions!
CONGRESS TODAY IS A DEWAD ORGANISATION AND THATS WHY ARE LOOKING FOR 'HORSE TRADING"
W e are least intere4sted in the 22 nd july tamasha!

Though we may speculate in to oblivion about who could have done what better, it is only graceful to accept that Panditji led the nation at the vital juncture of its very rebirth. He aligned modern India with the Soviet Union, even as the other side of the Partition cuddled up to Washington. 1965 would have been a repeat of 1962 were it not for the link that Panditji forged with Moscow. Finally, please consider to who we owe India's nuclear capabilities.

Hi,

You have only listed the minor blunders of this idiot Nehru. The most historic blunders this mad man committed are:

1. Referring the Kashmir issue to the UNO at a point when we were actually winning the Kashmir war - we would have had NO Kashmir issue, NO POK today if Nehru had desisted from referring the matter to the UNO.
2. Declining the Permanent Membership in the UN Security Council and gifting it away to China (Can you believe this - yes, he did it)
3. Foreign policy goofs like Hind-Chini-Bhai-Bhai which eventually let China surprise us by a humiliating invasion and defeat (resulting in thousand of square kilometers of Indian territory coming under Chinese occupation)
4. Embracing a public-sector driven socialist model that set India back by at least 50 years (we are still catching up on the economic front)

We can just go and on and on....

My vote for the most stupid PM we have ever had will go to this moron whom we Indians tend to worship as a sort of demi-god.

I am not aware of any factual account of India's distant past with respect to the Security Council, but each living Indian can guess which country keeps us out at this time. Similarly, while we may swap fantasy for fact with respect to the origins of the Kashmir issue, the pins of the present imbroglio at ground zero in this State, can be pinned on the right donkey without any errors. The humiliation of 1962 was corrected in large measures during 1965 and 1971: let us not apportion blame on the departed without due credit for the corrective measures they initiated. Who trained and resourced the heroic soldiers of our victories? Finally, do you think a prominent public sectors is any worse than an economy so held to ransom by warring brothers that a PM with no time to deal with inflation and farmer suicides, spends precious resources courting capitalist criminals?

Mayawati ...PM? Is this real or am I dreaming?
by Nikhil Gupta on Jul 20, 2008 03:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now u must be kidding when u state "Mayawati as next PM?". Do u really think that the ppl of india want to see her at any post in the politics even, forget abt being the PM. I would rather choose to have Advani instead of Mayawati if they are the only 2 ppl left in the world for the post of INDIAN PRIME MINISTER. I am surprised to see a high post minister(Siddiqui) saying "Muslim Community dont like Bush, hence dont support the Nuclear deal" Cmon ppl here we are not talking abt the likes and dislikes of the junta, we are addressing bigger issue i.e. INDIA. If i like Amitabh or Shahrukh khan does that mean i should try to make a move to make then the PM/president of the country. Likes and dislikes are not the question here. It high time that we, the ppl of India, think above our preference and choices, instead go a step above and think whats in best interest of India and Indians as a whole.
We need to rise above this crisis people.
Here I am not supporting anyone but I am trying to point out to those f**king politicians who think they are the one who make India and that if they think whatever they will do will not be questioned. Go India !!
Luv My Country!

PM Bahenji Mayawati- Move in Right Direction
by BahujanHitay BahujanSukhay on Jul 20, 2008 01:23 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Friends, Bahenji becoming PM of India will be the ultimate start for India becoming Super Power. She has kicked all police force of UP within a short period of time to serve the people. She will try to follow this all over the nation once becoming PM. All the roots of corruption, injustice, fraud, black money etc are rising because there is no just policing in India. So to make Indian society run according to Constitution needs unbiased and efficent policing. That is the reason Bahenji took cleansing of police force on priority basis. You know in India's history, no Home minister of state or even CM dare to do any thing against corrupt police force that too at IPS level but only Bahenji has done it. Such powerful lady as a PM is the need of the hour to change Indian system from its root.

the right course for india
by Pradip Parekh on Jul 20, 2008 12:48 AM  Permalink

let the parliament vote on the nuke deal without whips, allowing each member to vote per his best judgement. the no-confidence vote could be conducted with the full party whips after the vote on the nuke deal. it is important to delink nuke deal from confidence vote because the first one will have a lot of cross voting as swapan dasgupta had pointed out in a recent article with amazing clarity. the two issues are totally different in their character as regarding national interests.

by Krishnan Hariharan on Jul 19, 2008 11:35 PM  Permalink

India will prove that it has overcome the caste barriers once and for all... it is the ultimate victory for Equality, but how about corruption, National Security, justice for one and all... these should also be addressed and should be Priority Number 1!
