DURING 1989, THE LEFT ALONG WITH BJP COMMONLY FOUGHT FOR THE OUSTER OF CONGRESS (RAJIV GANDHI) AND EVEN FORMED A GOVERNMENT. DURING THAT TIME CHOMNATH CHATERJEE was SLEEPING IN HIS TOILET. (BEEDA SECULARIST). BUT NOW SUDDENLY IN 2008, HE HAS WOKEN UP AND HAS BECOME JUDO-SECULARIST.
LETS US NOT FORGET THAT SOMNATH CHATERJEE FOUGHT FOR SAURAV GANGULI’S INCLUSION INTO THE INDIAN TEAM AS A BENGALI, EVEN A LALLOO PRASAD WILL NOT DO.
HE ALSO GOT A SLAP FROM CHAPPEL, THE EX-INDIAN COACH, TO MATTER HIS OWN BUSINESS IN PARLIAMENT RATHER THAN INTERFERING WITH INDIAN CRICKET SELECTION POLICIES FOR WHICH “SOMNATH THE GREAT” CRIED.
HE IS THE MOST PARTISAN SPEAKER TO HAVE ADORNED THE POST AND A CHEAPEST POLITICIAN.
HIS INDICATION TO HIS PARTY THAT HE CANNOT BE SEEN VOTING WITH THE BJP (IMPARTIAL SPEAKER????) IS HIS REAL FACE.
NO SPEAKER IN THE LAST 15-20 YEARS HAS BEHAVED AS CHEAPER AS THIS PERSON.
BUT, NOW HE IS ACTING AS IF HE IS A GREAT POLITICIAN WHICH THE NEWS CHANNELS CHEAPLY POTRAY AND POOR PEOPLE ACKNOWLEDGE.

Now adays on TV no party is claiming for the interest of nation. All smaller parties including SP are asking to fulfil their interests. It is eyewash only.
Hi Uttam. why don't you attach a footnote explaining what you mean with your cartoons.. or better find another job.
political cartoons are for a different league of cartoonists. say something incisive or something witty, and something which people won't have to stare at for an hour to understand.
Its time Congress realizes that it has screwed up the whole national politics at one go ... its getting to a point of absolute horse trading - compromising on principles ...
When Obama has clearly endorsed the deal - let the next government deal with him - why should someone deal with a sinking ship called BUSH ... and allow a sinking ship called UPA do the negotiating ...
Let the UPA fall - which is very likely now - as the news channels are showing that nearly 12 MP's each have deserted the RJD and SP and nearly 4-6 MP's of the Congress themselves are deserting ...
We dont want to see any more of these unprincipled politics being played - its utter shamelessness....

Jayanti Natarajan challenged A.B. Bardhan to prove 25 cr. deal. Now 25-30 cr is a living truth in Indian politics. Cruel politicians are bribing, purhcasing not MPs, but cutting throat of Indian poor for George Bush.
