there are 2 reasons why India is still not developed country.
by . on Jul 18, 2008 07:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1. Either the people who got us independence were not patriotic.
2. Congress never cared about country.
I will surely not accept the first one and think many wont. The second one is the main reason why India is still not developed.
When we got independence I guess most people were thinking good for the country and would have done anything for that. But the congress which was in power with those amazing people as citizens of the nation, only made things worse. Infact just think the mentallity of the people now, I guess most of them are ready to sell the country for a good amount.
Actually I dont have any problem with Sonia or MMS, but Congress as party can not do anything good for the country.

Maruti Udyog

In 1971, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's Cabinet proposed the production of a "people's car" - a cheap, affordable and efficient indigenous machine that middle-class citizens could afford. While Sanjay had no experience, design proposal or tie-ins with any corporation, he was awarded the contract and the exclusive production license. The criticism that followed this decision was mostly directed at Indira, but the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and victory over Pakistan drowned out the issue. Indira's victory and subsequent Congress landslide in the elections only left Indira Gandhi more powerful. Maruti Udyog, today India's premier automobile manufacturing corporation, was founded by Sanjay Gandhi, but the company did not produce any vehicles during his lifetime. A test model put out as a showpiece of progress was criticized. Public perception turned against Sanjay, and many began to speculate of growing corruption.

Dear Friend, This is not a vote on the deal. UPA has to prove their majority in the house. After proving then they can go head with the deal or are free to sell the Italian Sonia to the US.

UPA will fall and has to fall ... for bringing in decent politics into India
by Sanjay Reddy on Jul 18, 2008 07:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its time Congress realizes that it has screwed up the whole national politics at one go ... its getting to a point of absolute horse trading - compromising on principles ...

When Obama has clearly endorsed the deal - let the next government deal with him - why should someone deal with a sinking ship called BUSH ... and allow a sinking ship called UPA do the negotiating ...

Let the UPA fall - which is very likely now - as the news channels are showing that nearly 12 MP's each have deserted the RJD and SP and nearly 4-6 MP's of the Congress themselves are deserting ...

We dont want to see any more of these unprincipled politics being played - its utter shamelessness....

Veerappa Moily displays all signs of frustration as this may be his last stint in parliament. As it is he cant get elected even to a local body in Karnataka....

MR Bolli of AP is against the deal. So i am sure the UPA will survive. The reason is that MR Bolli of AP supported Clinton she lost. He supported Mulayam he lost. Now he is supporting the Third Front it will be in shatters. Mr Bolli is CBN aka Chandra Babu Naidu
