Keep off from horse trading

All these kala-bulee is for the sake of just 10% max of total energy at a total cost of 3 lakh crores of rupees scheduled to be spent in 20 years crippling the financial system of India. The waste disposal and safety against radiation hazard is the biggest problem -technically and financially. Twenty years from now Uranium will be a rare material!! The congress is in for any kind of back-door deal to gain support from anybody in the parliament.

I hope there are some congress men still there who can influence the leadership to change the attitude.
It is unpardonable to divide society vertically for the sake of a N-deal -'sign-off' of our sovereignty and freedom. All the good works done by congress will be made opaque by this single act. Let the present congress leaders emulate the old generations of congress leaders who lead freedom movement. At the moment I can only pray to God to give them sense and allow them to think without prejudice and biases.

Why this 'undue haste'?

Let a VIDURA be born in congress to guide them.

Prestige of an individual is nothing when we talk of NATIONAL INTEREST.

Avoid number game. Uphold values in public life.

Keep away from HORSE TRADING!!

Former Rajya Sabha member and Trinamul Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi believes if Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images], who is considered an honest politician, can go to any extent to win the numbers, there is no hope left for democracy.
Wise people talked it long back!
Its good that some politician is talking on it!

They united with the congress and have no face to win the election 2009. Like it or not. They had to withdraw. A. B. Bardhan is well described by frank Lalu Prasad Jadhav as he can never be trusted by anyone.

Main communal party- congress
by santhosh kumar! on Jul 19, 2008 10:43 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is true that the congress had some good leaders in the past, today there are more of antisocials. They talk about the national interest, but their actions does not say so.They have become very communal party. It is the congress that had made the party like BJP take the path communal to a extend. In kerala you have the muslim league which survives just because of congress. The name itself says they are for the muslims. What is wrong then if the BJP plays the hindu card. When the election comes it is the congress which plays the caste and religion card , even the cristian belt seems to be with the congress, even their religious leaders are seen openly calling for the support to the congress. The congress have no right to say another party is communal when they them self plays worst communal politics.Infact they have become more of a arogant party who will play any dirty game to stay in power.

Yes you are right.Gone are those days when leaders used to address people as fellow countrymen.Yesteryear's leaders talked about problems people are facing and ways to tackle them, now our great leaders are talking about caste and religion more than the real problems.
leaders appeal to people only on caste or religion basis.Congress is to blamed for this to the most extent and BJP for some extent.
Freebies to deprieved people is a very short term solution, making them stand on their own feet and earn on their own is the long term solution.
But our leaders think about themselves and not the people when they speak of " in the national intrest", then its in their own interst.
Shame, that our leaders say there are no corrupt in the legislature, judiciary and beauracracy, but an international agency says that about 70 lakh crores of rupees of black money from india in the foreign bank. Lets assume AAM ADMI in india is so developed that he has a/cs &deposits only in foreign banks. And our leaders are so poor that they take white ration cards, reservation for their children where necessary, and expenses &accomodation from tax payers money. They have no assets and no taxes.
Leaders is he who despite being an MP for a term has no house/car for him/herself & live a simple life with the pension they get.
Now a party worker has 3-4 houses & skoda car. This happens only in India.Bcos those who earn 2lacs or less are rich & rest poor.
MAFIA HAS SOME ETHICS, BUT NOT OUR LEADERS.SHAME

God alone knows the fate of Congress

Every one knows that politics is not a choice of Manmohan, but was only thrusted upon him because he was found to be the meekest,non-repulsive & most obedient by the Congress High Command. He is continuing against his very conscience out of sheer loyalty to Congress & nothing else.Every action of Manmohan is remotely controlled by others whose details need not be furnished since every one knows who they are!It is,therefore, not proper to blame Manmohan on the grounds of morality as he has a little say in any of these manipulative politics.
It is the left that should be blamed for all this political mess endangering the pace of economic development which stand already plagued by serious set backs such as spiralling prices & galloping inflation. They did not like congress's going for a vote previously when the latte asked for and now, suddenly, suffering from an ego & false prestige want it at a most in appropriate time when the country is reeling under several problems warranting govt's undivided attention.
Yes,the real Congress has truly left with Rajiv. The present day Congress has no real leader worth the name to lead it.The erosion in its credibility is so much that people started forgetting its past glory of 123 years & deplore for its pathetic plight of not being able to find even a proper name to announce for certain plum posts at election time. All the old guards in it are not able to stand the test of time & withstand the challenges the time hurls at them.what is its fate

The Congress did not die after Rajiv .It died much earlier. The Real Congress Died when Subhash Chandra Bose who got elected as President of Congress against Pattabhiram(a candidate of Mahatma Gandhi and took Pattabhiram's defeat as his own defeat) but had to resign because of Mahatma's unliking of Bose.

if not after Rajiv's death,Congress could be safely concluded too have died in 1969 after its vertical split into two-one headed by Nijalingappa & the other by Indira Gandhi after the contaversial "consensus"vote in the presidential elections.Since then only Congress has been stooping down to any extent to retain its power.Earlier,it did have some values & worth.

Sheethal Kaur!!
More than the intention of gaining the trust of the Sikhs after their aftermath in 1984,it is the mildness and servitude attitude of Manmohan that impressed the Congress high command more for preferring him to be the P.M.
2.O.K.Even if oit is the intention of Sonia to groom Rahul eventually to make him the P.M.what all the other members of high command doing?if all of them object,I donot think,Madam will venture to work towards that.In fact, she was hesitant to enter into politics for long after Rajiv's death fearing all stigmas and the concomitants of dirty politics, but it is the coterie consisting of all power mongers who need an umbrella with a brand mark of Nehru family that dragged her into politics; subsequent to this, having tasted power madam got emboldened to openly come out & play the cards. So,it is the other leaders of Congress family who are clinging to Gandhi family that should be blamed more than the mother & father.
