BJP is approaching our MPs - Vayalar Ravi
by Raaj on Jul 19, 2008 02:37 PM  Permalink

what kind of a question is this coming from a parliamentary affairs minister? In the game of prostitution he cannot shout COMPETITION, it is a game of what you pay, what you show and what you get. Time these clowns shut up and play the game these very pimps started in the first place. Everyone remembers Mayawati's Nagnath aur Saapnath story, it was Sonia and Sharad duo at it, hopefully people remember! Why does Ravi think the BJP will not have a strategy that is akin to theirs especially when both are in the same business?

IAEA predicts nuclear power production will be down to 13% by 2030 from present figure of 16%
as many countries slow down on nuclear plants and likely to close old plants without fresh investment due to heavy investment, fuel supply problem, international laws on supply of fuel and reprocessing, accident chances for radiation
besides high cost of power generation compared to conventional production out of wind, solar,
thermal, hydel ect. fuel uranium production is mainly concentrated in australian, canada while
conversion,reprocessing,enrichment,centrifuging
fuel farbitcation technology is with GERMANY,
USA,RUSSIA,CANADA,FRANCE,U K.so india have to depend upon above countries for fuel, subject
indian nucelar reactors to their inspection and
have to spend spent fuel for reprocessing to the above countries.in short MMS surrenders india to west and sold to america.

example- a belgium nuclear plant contracts with
Ausralian uranium oxide and send to USA to convert to uranium hexaflouride gas and sent to
RUSSIA for enrichement to U235 isotopes before
sent to GERMANY for fuel fabrication in fuel rods before packed to belgium reactor for power
production.so processing, conversion,enrichment,
fuel farbication are done in different countries
example - a brazilian power plant send their
uranium oxide (yellow cake)to canada to produce
uranium hexaflouride which is sent to germany to
enrichement process and sent to USA for fuel
fabrication before being sent finally to brazil
to produce power.all countries similar to india
like brazil, argentina depend upon other countries for fuel grade uranium supply.india will open its nuclear plants for inspection by
IAEA.high cost of investment, heavy prices of fuel grade uranium, enrichement cost will throw
power prices beyond common man.Americans now harness wind, solar, hydel, sea for producing power
and no fresh investment on nuclear reactors.why
they sell their old dismandled plants repainted
reconditined like new and sell to MMS.

Countdown of Congress

Countdown of Congress

Congress did not do good work for people for the four and a half years.
Congress never discussed the Deal publicly.
Congress never discussed the Deal in its party.
Congress ignored a good ally the Left.
Congress should have maintain its relation with the Left, because Left needs to win Elections in other states.
Congress faces a lot of problems in its party; its alliance partners and small regional parties etc.
It is not a problem of July 22 Confidence Motion for Congress, but its right step can only move forward in various states. Otherwise Congress future will be very bleak.

CPM'S STAND
by john kannattu on Jul 19, 2008 01:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I do not understand the logic of CPM. If the nuclear deal is bad, it is bad for the entire country. How Muslims are only affected. These people, even though communists, are playing the most dirtiest games. Please do not do this . Do not bring Muslims into this. If the deal is bad, let them oppose it, but by representing the country as a whole. But the communists used to play the communal card even in college elections, this is the most unfortunate. We know, all other parties do this but pretending a communist and doing the same thing is very bad

"(CPI-M General Secretary) Prakash Karat, I don't want to get personal, but he is playing the role of B T Ranadive. During 1947-48, when India was suffering due to millions of refugees, he created a crisis for Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by questioning the independence (of India). Karat is repeating the same mistake." Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Vayalar Ravi said.

You should know that the BJP has the revoked suspension of an MP (Babubhai Katara was suspended when the police charged him with human trafficking) who took a woman abroad posing as if she was his wife "

@kashmiri democrat ur satarthi qouted moily so i too qouted moily !and who is here for decent discussion !what does one liner post means !U write one line and u also reply to ur post in one line ! And the question of debate is on issues !Satayrthi never raises issues he gives diktats! So you have right to say that SP-RJd are goons !Tomoprrow you will say that even Left -BSP- Samta r goons !And there is no comparison at all !For u if tomorrow the RJD and SP vote for RSSBJP they will be saint! U forget that the most corrupt bigot Speaker ever in modern history is Kesri Nath Tripathi of kulak manuwadi RSSBJP who illgally split the BSP to benefit BJP and SP !you forget that too soon ! and yes if some wants discussion then it has to on issues and not mere one liners and ur own one liner reply! We know ur Manusmirity but be frank with ur details and discuss! And yes as for
fighting like dogs and eating like vultures
all right all right that is your culture!

When the right-wing nationalist BJP led by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee first came to power at the national government in 1996, it lasted in power for only 13 days after failing to win a confidence motion in Parliament.
But in that space of time, Vajpayee signed an iron-clad counter-guarantee that vastly benefited Enron

Mahabodhi, I do not understand your point on Enron. It was a commercial deal Vajpayee signed for increased power generation in Maharashtra. Why is that wrong?
But Enron itself bit the dust in the USA. No more Enron now.
Do keep an eye on BJP. Hold it to account as any other political party that has power to rule. But your judgment has to be fair and accurate to the extend of published information.
