cec
by mohan joshi on Jul 18, 2008 07:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Main problem is not N-deal but elections. Congress wants to delay elections so that their main gets the chair of CEC and NDA would never like that. since impartial CEC ending the term by the end of this year.

That's definitely a reason Congress wouldn't want elections now.

Oh, are you talking about the current impartial CEC, who slapped BJP many times for BJP's wrong doings & BJP criticized him as Congress agent?

I pray BJP loves him!

Nuclear Deal
by Manas Kumar Sen on Jul 18, 2008 07:10 PM  Permalink

The nuclear deal as has been circulated is beneficial to India and it's populace in the present global political scenario. Every effort must be made to see that this deal goes through. Whether Congress remains in power in 5 month's time, after general election, is not relevant to the populace of India because we have seen and experienced what the opposition, when in power, can do. The nuclear deal, as it stands, is more vital for our energy security if we have to catch up fast with the first world. Let us not be swayed by the gains or osss of the political parties in elections, but campaign vigorously for implementation of this deal, as this is of benefit to the country. Let's not scuttle it.

A simple vendor evaluation form and Project evaluation is all it takes to decide
by Don on Jul 18, 2008 07:09 PM  Permalink

First have clarity on How many tonnes of nuclear fuel would be delivered to India along with dispatch schedules and at what price.

How much of it can be readily used in our current reactors.

What is the project cost of setting up nuclear reactors. Will IAEA fund it for signing the deal?

What will be the cost per unit generation. How much of this power will be made available for poor farmers in India free of charge for signing the deal? for what duration?

Do this exercise and decide dont waste time

Fundamental problem
by Raj on Jul 18, 2008 07:06 PM  Permalink

Our two national parties are increasingly making space for regional parties by giving seats to regional partners, then what is chance of single party government? Due to this one bit /two bit parties like RLD, Deve Gowda etc have veto on national policies ... we need to vote for national parties for central govt either Congress or BJP and vote regional parties at state level if we want .. but lets first kick commies out.

Mockery of Indian Economic system, failure of political system
by narendera gupta on Jul 18, 2008 06:59 PM  Permalink

With all respects to our great leaders, the Govts have made a mockery of our people. Be it Ataj Govt, Indiri Govt, Charan Singh Govt, Chandrasekhar Govt, Deve Gowda Govt.

Major parties alliancing with smaller parties have tarnished the image of India. Be it N talks or any other issue.

Chidambaram is not at all concerned with the dwindling economic scenario of Indian economy; in all sectors. The price rise has been enormous. On the Home front, Kanpurian Mr Jaiswal has failed utterly to contain law and order situation, apart from other frontiers.

Congress allianced with Keftist for personal gains only.

Young Rahul making an observation on Great Economist of the era Dr Manmohan Singh, that whatever he is doing is good for the country, irrespective of the Govt. stay or ouster. If we are more concerned about the good of our country, let all the Parties sit down together, to decide whether to vote in favour of N deal or not. Rather than seeking a vote on 22nd.

I am afraid that by showing the message, I would be under danger from some quarters, but I am fearless.

I wish Personalities like Dr APJ, Dr Karan Singh, heads of Atomic Energy, Space, Electronics, Science and Technology sit down and issue a statement for the common Indian, on n deal, which everyone of us is wanting,

Respectfully yours

Sincerely
Narendera K Gupta

ill-legal and illogical
by ANAND TEERTHA on Jul 18, 2008 06:58 PM  Permalink

It is totally unjustified ,illegal and illogical to see Cong-I buying votes to shout that they have a mandate to go in for N-deal.They have no right to tag this nations future for 40 years, since we elect a government for only five years.
We have been saying that puppet PM is not honest. He proved it with his own statements issued for the past two years.

Bardhan choice for Maya as PM is brilliant
by D S on Jul 18, 2008 06:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mulayam is NO match to Bahenji, How many Indians initally supported Hillary and NOT OBAMA!!! raise your hands

Maya has not been bad to other castes/creed and religion as well.

Bardhan wants DARK BLACK Maya to be a good counter force to GHORA Videshi stuff and her chamchas

All these Dravid's, tribal/ST, SC parties will shoot their foot if they oppose their AMMA.

If Afro Obama then why not Maya. Mayawati can be uniting force for sure and why not have a Dalit PM
VERY VERY WISE CHOICE.
We have had a minority religion PM and now the choice of Dalit PM. It will remove all the blot on India about country's discrmination on basis of Caste, race and creed.
VERY VERY WISE CHOICE.
