yaar they are still frinds no need to panic we will soon see cpm and congress together
Congress should constitute a committee consisting of its leaders like K.Karunakaran, A.K. Antony, Vayalar Ravi, Ramesh Chennithala, Kodikkunil Suresh, etc; etc; as these leaders are champions to bring a secrete understanding with BJP as is being done in Kerala and succeed in confidence vote in Parliament.
This a boogie being created by the Congress friendly Media. By voting in a similar fashion as the BJP, it does not mean that the Left is supporting the BJP. If the Congress was so concerned about it, then they should not have given such a situation to their partners (the Left). The Media seems to be trying to help the sinking fortunes of the Congress.
There is nothing wrong if CPI(M) vote along with the BJP. They did that before. in 1977 Morarji Desai government has survived because the LEFT was supporting it from outside, when Vajpayee was the foreign minister.
This is a national issue: (a) whether India would retain nuclear weapons to give up to satisfy American demand; (b) whether India will retain an independent foreign policy or it will be reduced to Thailand or Kenya.
India gains nothing from this 123 Dances; American Energy companies will gain. Just like ENRON , they will come to India to offer their junk nuclear plant at a high cost and just like ENRON they will run away without producing anything or just like UNION CARBIDE kill several thousands people.
The Strategy of the LEFT: LEFT want The Congress to be defeated. After that The Congress will discard MM Singh and call for a new election. After the election LEFT will again support The Congress without MM Singh.

China supports 123 Deal, as it would neutralise India. USA cannot be an ally of India, as USA will never give up Pakistan, which is apet of Saudi Arabia. USa also a borrower from China of $500 Billion, US corporations depend on China.
If you think your co-passenger is carrying a bomb, you get off the train and/or alert the police. CPIM was on this train with BJP in 1989 and we thought they learnt. But, possibly not - hopefully the big benefit of this particular misadventure will be the end of CPIM as a party of national importance, which will be good for the country.
