We must remember that China also has signed nuclear deal with US. But a lot of differences. It is agreed both by US and China that no domestic laws will control the deal. In our case, the Hyde act comes into force. Another important thing to be noted that China has been recognised as nuclear weapon state that has many privileges.. For example, China can take out any reactor out of the safeguard agreement at any time on its own. India will be weaker by signing this agreement. That is why the CPI(M) is opposing the deal.

Let us become a part of China than all these advantages would be ours !!! This is what CPM wants. USA is imperailist and how many relations of CPM cadre are employed or studying or getting treated in that imperialist country? Our media asks only convenient questions to these leaders and paints them whatever they want to paint.

Nuclear deal is a justifiable reason. The very fact the Left is opposing that proves it is good for the nation. BJP should realise and should not act in a hurry to grab power! They can wait for another 6 months!

Absolutely right. Now that left has decided not to join UPA in future also, it would be cake walk for NDA to come to power. They would sign the same deal with some comma, fullstop changes. But what difference would it make to common people's problem?

I wish they do that ! If the Left can vote with the BJP, why can't BJP vote with the Congress ?
BJP as opposition is to oppose government so was doing CPM tactfully. America or Bush are suppose to be nobody's friend but what if the same deal would be with any other country. Prime minister may not be a fool and has to reply. There must be good points in deal.
Nuclear deal is a significant document to India and people of India for it,All MP'S Should vote on 22 nd according to their conscience cutting across party lines.Deal will give a great shape to rural India,we dont lose anything as the draft is clear for domestic purposes.Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Father of Missiles has already clarified to go for the deal,Let UNPA, BJP and Communists Leaders scuttle this good move.

chalam , they say little knowledge is dangerous, do u know what this is all about? pls tell us how much is the investment in nuclear reactors, aquiring uranium, and what is the return on investment. meaning how much will the country's energy requiremnt be fulfilled by this nuke deal? only then u make those stupid statements like an ignorant politician who is fed by sonia n cronies.

don't misread Kalam. He wants the technology to be brought in and developed further to develop thorium based reactors; not for uranium.
if i were to choose a party who i think is best in the present scenario, it would be congress. all political parties are hopeless, but today if i have to choosed btwn bad and worst, i would choose congress coz they are bad but others headed by bjp are worst. its sheer bad luck that issues like inflation, oil prices and other economy related issues have comeup during the congress's reign. however these issues are global issues, it is a result of recession in world economics. Growing economies including china is suffering from the same effect. we must give congress another term and we will find out how much they can cope. Despite bad circumstances they have performed reasonably (Look at some other countries, they are almost finished).

Which are the countries which are almost finished??? I would certainly not like to rate Congress on the basis of Inflation / Oil Prices / etc... but rate them on governance... Why dont we the "educated" people understand the difference between pseudo secular and secular idealogies... Congress has always gathered momentum trying to woo the so called minorities. Is this divide required in todays time... They create a scenario that they are messiah's of the minorities and hence further give fire to our already divided nation... look at the Quota issue or look at what is happening at Amarnath (was there a need to first give land and than take it back) this was done so that we the people of India remain divided and they get an opportunity to rule us... Its high time we stop thinking in terms of something is better than nothing or the best among the worst but put things in the right prespective... My friend do not get carried away by these pseudo secular talks of this party but opt for them only if you are convinced that they will make difference to OUR Nation...

why do we have a govt to rule if everything depends on luck, pls know there are a lot of countries who are doing better than us, there are a lot of countries where price of desedl is less than ours, by implementing wrong eco and fiscal policies, our inflation is double digit, and mind u it is going to be there for a considerable more time, the next govt whoever comes will also face this problem. we cannot allow bad luck like congress to rule for another term. congress is the curse of the nation

It will never happen... Left will have its presence as usual... It is the Congress that has to worry much..It has everything to lose..
