Just 0.2% share of representation in the country 1 MP out of 545 MPs and they starts renaming airports, universities and other public places by their relative names. Some thing bad comes from democracy even... bargaining at crisis time. Its unethical..but who can stop it...
Its over 21 years since Chaoudhary Charan Singh, one time Indian Prime Minister, whose government was pulled down by the Congress party, died and hence this recognition is surrounded with a lot of camouflage. Where is Morarji Desai Airport for that matter? There are still some living Prime Ministers who will be recognized in time to come, depending upon the party that will be in power. But for now, it is good that Charan Singh is recognized.
