It seems that left are playing like an agent of communists and that brings doubt on their credentials. They have spoilt the indutrial belts at many place in India: may it be at Kanpur UP or Baroda Guj. Theie present stand make one wounder why theu are helping those whom they opposed for the same cause.
When Rajiv Gandhi brought computers IT in In India in 1980's these commies CPI-M Opposed IT said that because of computer millions of people will lose jobs. Now every one knows how many jobs created in India because of IT.And where India stand today because of IT. Now these commies CPI-M again saying same statement for Nuclear Deal and every thing.Let them bark don't care.

My Bank had 46000 employees before computerisation. Now the number of employees are 34000 . The picture is same in all the Public Sector banks.

Wow man :) so if u owned the banks, what will u prefer?? a man maintaining accounts in a register kept in a room full of registers or a desktop giving u instant access? U think primary aim of banks is to provide jobs to ppl? U know U have to "earn" money? Its not your "right" to have a job n be paid
To quote the speaker- "Just think, there are 2.5 million people in this country who earn over a crore of rupees (Rs 10 million) per annum. Don't you think that's a bit too much for a country that still has millions who can't have two square meals a day?.... Shouldn't there be some restrictions or control over this 'free' and 'easy' flow of money?"
How on earth is THIS the solution to the crisis of inflation in India? Yes, lets punish the rich people who are making money. It is fair to ensure that the money is not being made illegally, but there are other world commodity / fuel price increases at play here. The best the govt. can do is to reduce tax complexity and make sure illegal hoarding, speculation isn't occurring.

Regarding nuke deal, though the left parties are now opposing the deal in full.... they are going to vote against the deal with BJP which is not opposing the deal fully.. If it (BJP) comes to power it will go in favour of the deal . In that circumstances congress can't oppose the deal. Then the deal will come into effect. Then what will be the position of the left... It means they want the deal to be completed by BJP?

why cannot congress oppose the deal when BJP is in power? if BJP who initiated the deal can oppose it now ,so will the congress. as it is the deal is very confusing as far as benefits to the country are concerned .so they will say something has been changed and thwen oppose it. after all who is bothered about the country's benefits? the only debate in my opinion should be about the advantages and the disadvantages and decision based on which is more.
Isn't this the Subhash Chakraborty, who was subjected to some serious witch-hunting after he was photographed offering Puja in a temple? And later he had to issue a statement that he never visited the temple?
Why should a political party worry about a person's religious affiliations? Well, the party in question is a Communist party. That should explain (not justify) their anathema towards religions. Well, why then did these automatons gang up with the SP to stage massive protests against some Danish cartoonist lampooning the Prophet? Why do these morons support caste and religion based reservation?
To me, Communism practiced by the communists of India is far removed from the communism propounded by Marx and Mao. Anything that hurts the Hindus and plays into the hands of China (or what played into the hands of the erstwhile USSR), is communism for these imbeciles. Mother India will heave a sigh of relief if these jerks are jettisoned off into the Bay of Bengal.

well said .i hope at least this time the Bengalis wake up and throw out these imposters from power.what they are practising is not communism ( which is failed ideology anyway)but anti indianism and americanism
"I was the one who had had a leading Bengali daily's office vandalised because it had defamed Jyoti Basu."--- A man holding a public office openly accepting that he resorted to Vandalism! Such Brazen attitude and Arrogance! Isn't this proof enough to have him arrested on Vandalism charges?
